GENWORTH FOUNDATION’S HOLIDAY VILLAGE
Tuesday, Nov 2 – Friday, Dec 31, CMoR Central
Stroll through a charming neighborhood of Fan District inspired houses that feature holiday celebrations from around the world: Hanukkah, Eid, Lunar New Year, Diwali, Christmas and Kwanzaa. Children can experience the symbols, customs and traditions through books, games and other hands-on activities. This seasonal exhibit is free to the public and is located in the Grandis Gallery off the museum’s lobby.

RIVER CITY 3 RAILERS EXHIBIT
Saturday, Dec 4, 9:30am – 7pm, & Sunday, Dec 5, 9:30am – 5pm
Join members of this model railroad club as they share their love of model trains with you. Trains manufactured from the 1930s to modern day will be displayed and operated by these train enthusiasts in our Celebration Center. This event coincides with our Gingerbread Festival and Santa visits to provide the perfect one-stop holiday experience!

ANNUAL GINGERBREAD FESTIVAL

· NIGHT WITH THE ELVES Saturday, Dec 4 from 5:30pm-7pm, CMoR Central
A special event for CMoR members sponsored by Whole Foods Market and The C.F. Sauer Company! Catch a sneak peek at SPARC’s 12 Elves performance then mingle with the elves for gingerbread decorating. Create your own brick to become part of the CMoR gingerbread house for display during the festival then decorate your own gingerkid cookie to take home. And don’t miss the train exhibit! · VISIONS OF GINGERBREAD SHOWCASE, Saturday, Dec 11- Saturday, Dec 18 – CMoR Central
Feast your eyes on a stunning display of gingerbread creations from area chefs and goodie-designers! Creations will be on display to the public located off the museum’s lobby. This event is free.

LEGENDARY SANTA
Friday, Nov 26 – Friday, Dec 24, CM0R Central
The one and only Legendary Santa, along with his Snow Queen and helpful elf, continue the 74 year-old tradition of bringing the magic of Christmas to life for thousands of children and their families from all over the Commonwealth. A visit with Legendary Santa and a commemorative picture set the tone for “the most wonderful time of the year.” A visit with Legendary Santa is free to the public.

SUNRISE WITH SANTA
Saturdays & Sundays, Dec 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 at 8am, CMoR Central
Thursday, Dec 16 – Friday, Dec 24 at 8am, CMoR Central
Get a jump on the day (and the line) by joining us for Sunrise with Santa. This special ticketed program allows a limited number of families the opportunity to experience all the magic of Legendary Santa, including watching Santa come down the chimney and a picture opportunity, without waiting in a long line. The program begins promptly at the times listed and will last 45 minutes.

Tickets are $60 for up to 6 family members. For complete details or to purchase tickets, visit www.childrensmuseumofrichmond.org, beginning November 1. Sunrise tickets do not include museum admission.

SUNSET WITH SANTA
Friday, Dec 10, 5:30pm – 8pm, CMoR Central

This exclusive ticketed program allows a limited number of families to visit with Legendary Santa on a special evening in December. Guests can watch Santa come down the chimney at 5:45pm and take a picture without waiting in a long line. PLUS Sunset guests enjoy private access to the museum’s exhibit space, including the Art Studio!

Tickets are $125 for up to 10 family members, and do not include a photo package. Beginning November 1, please visit www.childrensmuseumofrichmond.org to purchase tickets.

NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH
Friday, Dec 31, 10am – 2pm
Ring in the new year at CMoR’s Annual New Year’s Eve Bash. Join Seymour and his special guests from Radio Disney from 10am to 1pm for a special “Countdown to Noon” juice box toast, fun games and prize giveaways. All event activities are free with museum admission. CMoR Closes at 3pm on December 31st.
