When a parent dies, who is there to help?

by Kate Willoughby Hall, Richmondmom.com CEO

Everyone knows life insurance is important, but thankfully few people ever have to learn it first-hand. When my father died at age fifty (I was fifteen) he had no life insurance. I saw the hardship that it brought to my mom, not only with funeral expenses, but far beyond.  His death changed our lives in many ways. Life insurance would not have brought him back, but it sure would have made our life without him much easier.

Hope Woolwine is a Richmond mom and agent.  She helps families in Richmond every day prepare for their futures.  She gives them peace of mind that is invaluable.  Hope is the mother of two small children and has been in the insurance and financial services business for 19 years.  She wanted to build a business that would allow her some flexibility with her children while truly helping other people.  With an MBA and financial services certification, Hope is not only qualified to do what she does, she is passionate about what she does.  As a State Farm Agent, Hope can help you with financial planning, life insurance, health insurance, auto insurance, homeowners insurance and banking products.

Hope “gets” Richmond moms and can put insurance lingo into layman’s terms and can come to Richmond parents who have their hands full. Hope particularly recommends having a consult with her at a major life change, such as marriage or when a child is born.  We bought our policies when our first child was born and our current cost per month is significantly lower as a result.   Contact Hope today at hope@hopewoolwine.com or (804)379-9100.
