Let's face it, we all get caught up in the minutae and routines of life so 1 day set aside to remind you to gush over your love isn't such a bad thing. You don't have to go commercial or fall for the ridiculous advertisements. I am making my husband a nice meal with his favorites which we will eat and enjoy while the kids watch a movie in the other room. We always eat dinner with the family but Valentine's Day is an excuse to step back, take a break and remember the "just us" days. There's nothing wrong with romance!
