Sampling Shockoe is a food fiesta!

Get ready for Sampling Shockoe week because it starts today, July 25, 2011 and continues through Sunday, July 31.

Sampling Shockoe is a dining event that started two years ago in Richmond.

It’s all about sampling some great food in one of the best areas of Richmond – where food, fun and entertainment converge. Many Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom restaurants are assembling fantastic menus at discounted prices. For just $30 per person, you can enjoy an appetizer, entree and dessert at many restaurants.

To make it even friendlier for moms, there is a new lunch option this year. This means some restaurants are creating a $10 3-course menu option. What a deal for Richmond moms and grandmoms who want to enjoy exquisite cuisine at an affordable price.
