SunTrust Richmond Marathon Fitness Expos and activities November 10 and 11; race is on November 12. Check website for times, details and registration information. On-course support featuring live bands, DJs, spirit groups and Party Zones guaranteed to give you that extra burst of energy. Unique features, including junk food stops and wet washcloths along the course, as well as hot pizza and a complimentary massage to greet you at the finish line. Even an online registration system that doesn’t hit you with extra fees to sign up. It’s what led Runner’s World to confirm what we’ve been saying all along: The SunTrust Richmond Marathon truly is “America’s Friendliest Marathon”!
Grease – The original Grease is brought back to life in this musical with Sandy and Danny reliving their “Summer Nights”. Incredible fun and laughter.
Greek Mini Festival. Everything the larger, traditional Greek Festival has but on a smaller scale. All indoors with plenty of food and fun. Come early because the food always runs out before the last night of closing. Delicious salads, entrees, and desserts – take some home!

Veterans Ceremony. November 11, 2011; 11:00am until 12:00pm at Heilman Amphitheater – Co-hosted with the American Legion 11th District We honor all veterans who have served our country past and present and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Civic, military, veteran and community organizations are invited to present a wreath during the ceremony. No registration is required – each group should bring their own wreath and register with the American Legion at the Memorial before the ceremony begins. Free parking is available. Rain or Shine.
