Sweet Spot Bingo in Short Pump – This Friday, the first Friday of the month Candy Bingo game. It’s a free event that starts at 5:30 p.m.

The Clover Hill High School theatre department continues its annual tradition of putting on a sketch comedy show in a “Saturday Night Live” spoof-esque manner with a one-night only evening of musical entertainment and comedic performance. The show starts at 7PM on May 4th, 2012, with tickets sold at the door for $5. The show is open to anyone and tickets are the same price for students and non-students.

Crestwood Youth Ministry’s Indoor Yard Sale will be Saturday, May 5, 8am-12noon at our West Campus (1200 Charter Colony Pkwy, Midlothian.) This is a multi-family yard sale which will benefit Crestwood Church’s student mission trips this summer.

Give a Child a Home – Change Who Waits!

The Asian American Society of Central Virginia (AASOCV) – 15th annual Asian American Celebration. This is the only event of its kind in the Region that showcases Asian American culture featuring food booths from many Asian countries, cultural exhibits and non stop traditional performances. The event provides hands-on workshops, educational games for children and a children’s parade.

Third Annual Ashland Chalk Walk. The concrete canvas provides a space to bring a community of artist and families together for an enjoyable day of creativity. Open to professional/amateur/aspiring artists of all ages. Spaces are limited. All participants must pre-register. An adult must accompany participants 14 and younger for the duration of the event. The Furry Friends Jubilee (FFJ) is an opportunity for the doctors and staff of Richmond and Central Virginia veterinarians to educate the pet owning community about the different aspects of veterinary medicine and answer medical questions for pet owners. The FFJ is great for the entire family. Aside from informational booths for adult pet owners, we will have interactive booths such as the teddy bear repair station, animal face painting and many more children activities.
