Nanny needed: west end Richmond

imageAugust 10, 2010: College Nannies and Tutors is seeking an active and mature Nanny/Household Manager to work with a West End client family and their three year old daughter and 10 month old son.  The schedule is flexible and can be part-time (Monday through Friday from 11:30am or noon until approximately 5pm with the opportunity for extended hours) or full-time for the right person.

The nanny should be creative and proactive in coming up with activities for the children and with helping out around the house. Besides childcare duties, the nanny will also be responsible for cooking pre-planned meals, running errands, grocery shopping, doing laundry, and helping out with other basic household duties. The ideal nanny will be a great role model for the children, polite, professional, responsible, reliable, extremely trustworthy, and a safe driver since the nanny will also transport the children. Safety is paramount so a full background check will be done. FUNCTION: Responsible for complex review of documents in order to evaluate and assign values to claims while maintaining the integrity of claims data with tasks including data entry and related duties to ensure excellent client service.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties to include but not limited to:

1. Review claims submissions and apply completeness criteria to determine completeness of required documentation.
2. Review financial and/or medical records and apply complex methodology in order to value claims.
3. Review claims in order to provide information to the client and other counsel outside the firm.
4. Perform regular quality control of client databases through secondary review of claims information.
5. May include research of medical terminology and pharmaceuticals.
6. May include preparation of correspondence to communicate benefit determinations.
7. Data enter claims information in order to generate correspondence and reports related to status of claims submissions.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
2. Minimum of one (1) year of relatable work or academic experience desired.
3. Working knowledge or exposure to business software (MS Office products). specific Excel skills highly desired.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Solid verbal and written communication skills to include the drafting of clear, concise emails and the presentation of questions that are pertinent to assignments.
6. Familiarity with financial documents preferred. Exs include tax documents, earning statements, explanation of benefits, Social Security benefit statements, etc.
7. Presentation of professional appearance, work standards, and demeanor that is reflective of a law firm setting.
8. Capacity for performing tasks requiring high levels of analytical ability.
9. Possession of flexibility to respond to and manage different tasks, often with competing priorities. Willingness to accept new task assignments.
10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
11. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
12. Experience performing administrative duties that are subject to production requirements.
13. Ability to work with sensitive material that requires a high level of confidentiality.
