If you haven’t gotten a chance to try out Richmond’s amazing restaurants this week is the week to do it.

During Richmond Restaurant Week, 30 restaurants are getting together to eat good for the greater good.
This year each 3 course meal is just 25.14 (for 2014) and no tickets or coupons are required.

From Richmond Restaurant Week’s website:
Area Chefs flex their creativity creating a three-course price fixed menu following some basic guidelines, and offer it up all week for $25.14 per person. This is a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite spot in a new way, and to try new places, because on top of the great dining deal, the restaurants donate $2.14 from each meal to FeedMore, the umbrella organization for the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. In 2013 alone the event raised over $57,105. That money provides hundreds of thousands of meals for the hungry.

Ravenchase Adventures, Richmond Magazine and 103.7 Play are once again proud to sponsor Dash for Cash RVA 2013: A Treasure Hunt to kickoff “Feed Richmond” and to help support FeedMore, the umbrella organization for the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels and the Community Kitchen!

Dash for Cash: November 3, 2013 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Contestants will start at the northeast corner of West Main and North Meadow (in the Fan Tastic Thrift parking lot) and then race to solve a series of clues using treasure maps, gadgets and logic. Click here for tickets – limited spaces available.

Richmond Restaurant Week is an 11-year-old week-long dining event with a three-course prix fixe menu for $25.13 per person. $2.13 of every meal goes to FeedMore, “Central Virginia’s hunger-relief leader made up of the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia and the Community Kitchen.” Fall Richmond Restaurant Week is Monday, Oct. 21 – Sunday, Oct. 27. Get ready for Richmond Restaurant Week and some delicious food and fun!

It’s all to help raise money for FeedMore and Meals on Wheels. Restaurants are donating a portion of their sales to these organizations.

April 22-28, 2013 is the spring event and it happens again October 21-27, 2013. Each time you go out to dinner at participating restaurants during Restaurant Week, you contribute to the local economy and help eliminate area hunger through a partnership with The Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.

Many participating restaurants are offering delicious dinners for $25.13.

Why $25.13?

The cents represent the year we’re celebrating. The whole dollar amount helps support the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels and the costs associated with Richmond Restaurant Week.
