Journey 4 A Cure (J4AC)
is an organization that every mom wishes we did not even have to have. But we do, and we are thankful for J4AC.J4AC is devoted to raising money to advance research efforts and development for pediatric cancer. They focus on creating awareness about the realities of pediatric cancer and providing support, outreach and caring for families facing unthinkable journeys with a child suffering from cancer.
Declan remembered
Journey 4 A Cure was established in November 2010 to honor and remember Declan Black Carmical and many other children who have died or battled pediatric cancer. Declan lost his brave battle just 8 days before his 1st birthday, but thanks to the love and support of his family and friends, this powerful organization was born to help others.
Declan’s smile and zest for life in spite of his fight with cancer during his almost one year of life, gave his parents and others the will and motivation to create a movement to help others. The organization is all about embarking on a powerful Journey that begins with each person and ends with a cure!
