Touch a truck and help a child.

The Junior League of Richmond’s 6th Annual Touch a Truck is an interactive event that allows children to see, touch, and explore their favorite big trucks and vehicles as well as to meet the personnel who protect, serve, and build the Richmond community. Make your way through a giant maze of construction trucks, emergency responders, fire trucks, police cars, tractor trailers, utility trucks, helicopters, and the Fun Bus — but don’t forget your hard hat (free with child’s admission)! The event takes place on October 1 so mark your calendars now.

Take a break and enjoy area mascots, special performances, snack bars, face painting, bounce houses, hay rides, games, crafts, raffles and a bazaar of local vendors. There are plenty of family-friendly activities for all ages.
College Nannies & Tutors will be there too so be sure and stop by to see them. Your kids can make a Halloween bookmark. You can also talk to them about providing a babysitter on October 7 so you can attend the HCA Spirit of Women’s event at The Jefferson. They’re waiving their registration fee when you book a sitter for the day.
Individual tickets ($5) are available online or at the gate on event day. VIP access tickets ($10-$30) and family packages ($15) are available online and only through advanced purchase. Please visit the event website for ticket purchases. Proceeds directly assist the Junior League with its programmatic work in serving children and families in the Richmond community.
