Sherry Nyquist
I didn’t think that teachers like Sherry Nyquist even existed anymore. As a teacher myself, I see many professionals in action each day, trying so hard to do their best and make their students succeed. Sherry does so effortlessly – it just comes naturally to her, it seems. Her students absolutely adore her. She teaches a kindergarten inclusive classroom in the most kind, gentle, patient manner. Sherry’s communication with parents is top-notch. She is in regular contact and no parent is ever left wondering what Sherry and her “friends” learn about each week. My only concern is that my son will now expect all of his future teachers to live up to Mrs. Nyquist’s standards!
Kimberly Hardiman
Mrs. Hardiman is a fabulous kindergarten teacher at Echo Lake Elementary. A teacher we all WISH we had! Mrs. Hardiman is never found without a smile and a kind word. Her positive attitude and encouraging spirit is truly contagious. This classroom is a special place to be. Songs, centers and circle time are intermixed with cheers! Mrs. Hardiman works very hard with each student to make sure that they achieve their potential. While reading skills are very important, self-confidence is one of her priorities! And in this day and age of test scores ruling, her children can brag of perfect scores and improvements – some of them by 40 points! While she is terrific with the kids, her communication with parents makes our job so much easier! And that great spirit doesn’t stop in the classroom, Mrs. Hardiman is that teacher you find playing on the playground with the children and always ready to toss a ball. She definitely deserves a cheer!
Charlotte Hesse
Charlottes Hesse spends time before and after school to make sure that all children are taught! Lessons are prepared and parents remain informed about the weekly curriculum. She has a great reputation throughout Hanover County and parents and children have the utmost respect for her. She participates in activities that her students enjoy in the evenings and on the weekends. I can’t say enough about how pleased the transition to Kindergarten has been.

Bethany Craig Click here to vote
A true renaissance woman, Bethany will lead her class from 1st through 8th grade and teach language arts, mathematics, history, geography, sciences, drawing, painting, sculpture, music, speech and drama to the same group of children. Through her sincere interest in each child and genuine enthusiasm for each subject she has proven worthy of the children’s confidence and love. Bethany helps to transform education into an art. Her medium is the curriculum, her teaching methods and the children she strives to educate. Her student’s enthusiastic love of learning is testament to Bethany being the top teacher in Richmond.
Bridget Selby Young Click here to vote
She is a wonderful special needs teacher and new mother!
Bryn Davis Click here to vote
Ms. Davis is the most caring teacher I have had the chance to work with. She currently teaches in Chesterfield County’s Intensive Day Program which is for students who have disabilities relating to their behavior. These students are often considered “hard to teach” but no matter their behaviors or attitudes, Ms. Davis takes each one under her wing and makes them feel special. She has been working with this population of students for over twenty-two years which is quite a feat since many teachers in this field burn out. For the past two years, Ms. Davis taught Algebra Part 1 and 2. This was out of her comfort zone, but she took this challenge head on. She took classes on her own time and still participates in staff development related to teaching algebra. In addition everything Ms. Davis already does for her students, she is working to learn about students transitioning after high school. In my mind, there cannot be another teacher more deserving than Ms. Davis for this award.
Chantea Gudger Click here to vote
Capt. Gudger is a wonderful teacher. She keeps the children’s interests with the different projects she has them to do about history. She makes wonderful songs/raps to go along with the daily studies to keep them interested as well. She makes history fun.
Charlotte Hesse Click here to vote
Charlottes Hesse spends time before and after school to make sure that all children are taught! Lessons are prepared and parents remain informed about the weekly curriculum. She has a great reputation throughout Hanover County and parents and children have the utmost respect for her. She participates in activities that her students enjoy in the evenings and on the weekends. I can’t say enough about how pleased the transition to Kindergarten has been.
Christina Neiswander Click here to vote
Christina Neiswander teaches Transitional First Grade (T1) at St. Edwards Epiphany Catholic School. She has a passion for her job and love for children. My daughter had a rough year in kindergarten. Things were just not clicking and she would get stressed very easily. End of year she was recommended for T-1. My daughter is having a phenomenal year€¦ progressing by leaps and bounds! It’s all Mrs. Neiswander! From the start she met with the parents to give an overview of what our children would be learning this year and reviewed instructional methods she would use for different learning styles. We receive letters to prepare for the upcoming week. She offers suggestions of how parents can support their child’s studies, and provides references to be used at home. She has also met with me to review reinforcement activities for home study. She has a way of connecting with each child; she motivates, challenges and inspires them to achieve goals they thought were not possible.
Courtney Jones Click here to vote
Mrs. Jones works tirelessly with every student she encounters. She is the gifted teacher at MES but helps with programs that will enhance every students’ education. When she goes into classrooms she teaches all the students, not just the ones on her caseload. She realizes that the activities she brings will help all students succeed. She is a great resource for teachers who want to extend their lessons to reach all students. I would describe Mrs. Jones as easy to work with and someone the students really enjoy being in their classroom.
Denise Hoffer Click here to vote
Denise Hoffer is an experienced educator and she truly loves teaching. Also, she has seemingly boundless energy! When she is finished with her workday at Colonial Trail Elementary School, she teaches adult exercise classes in the evening! Mrs. Hoffer has been very supportive to my little girl during a difficult transitional year. Not only did we move here from Michigan, but she has also been struggling with academic issues, the causes of which we weren’t able to determine until very recently. Mrs. Hoffer has been very patient and supportive of my daughter, and has been careful to nurture her self-esteem during this challenging time. We have been extremely fortunate to have Mrs. Hoffer as my daughter’s third grade teacher this year.
Elena Faulkner Click here to vote
I am nominating Elena Faulkner a 3rd Grade teacher at Laurel Meadow Elem. in Hanover Co. Ms. Faulkner is currently my son’s teacher and she has blown us away this year! She has a class of 26 students – yes, 26! Her class is the gifted and talented cluster class which means a portion of the class is gifted but not all – most are above average/average students. In my opinion this is a harder group to teach because you have a broader learning base with the students – however she manages this with such ease and makes each student feel as though they are #1 in her book! She was nominated this year by her peers as Teacher of the Year at Laurel Meadow as well! We recently had a PTA/Teacher Papa John’s delivery night at our school in which Ms. Faulkner’s class had the most orders for the entire school – I believe the reason for this is that her parents and students give her their full support – this doesn’t happen unless everyone BELIEVES what an amazing person and teacher she truly is!
Elizabeth Allums Click here to vote
I am very pleased to nominate my colleague Elizabeth Allums for Richmond’s Top Teacher 2012. Having worked with Ms. Allums for the past 5 years, I have come to see her many gifts as an art educator. She exhibits all of the traits you would want in an art teacher. Everything from her her vibrant and inviting art room to her enthusiastic and bright greeting for each child she encounters let you know that she is doing what she is meant to do! I am continually impressed with her dedication to the students and families of Jacob. L. Adams Elementary School. Not only does she facilitate great artistic experiences for her classes, but she goes above and beyond working with other groups of select students as well. Through her Art Scholars program, she has helped students build confidence in art that transfers to academics and behavior. This program has had very tangible results within our school. All of the students at Adams are excited to share time with their beloved art teacher Ms. Allums.
Elizabeth Dunn Click here to vote
Our whole family would like to nominate 4th grade teacher at Mary Munford Elementary, Elizabeth Dunn. She is an amazingly dedicated professional that has made her classroom a place where he students learn and grow in a creative, collaborative and nurturing environment. Her classroom is perfectly organized and set up to promote a positive learning experience. Kids are engaged in wonderful reading and writing activities that get them excited about coming in every day. My son struggles with school and social issues and she has created an environment where the kids care for her and each other and all put forward their best efforts. There is never a night that you won’t find Elizabeth in her classroom late at night preparing, working, and making time or her students and their parents. She gives her time to the school as the teacher representative on the PTA board and works hard to make the school as great place. I wish all RPS students had the opportunity to spend a year in her class!
Jackie Idleman Click here to vote
I saw this contest on Richmondmom.com and just had to nominate a special mother & teacher, my mom-Jackie Idleman. The students in my mother’s classroom are so lucky to have someone who is devoted to a child’s well-being. She brings a spirit of fun and joy to the class that is so infectious that past students continue to visit her room just to say hello. The room is filled with elaborate learning centers, bright pictures, and encouraging words. Mrs. Idleman is animated and energetic. If you were to stop by her classroom, you would wonder if she was performing a theatrical show rather than explaining the life span of a caterpillar. Her students happily go to class each day and each year are saddened when they must depart and graduate to the next grade level. During family time together, my mother is constantly grading papers or creating lessons for her eager learners. Any student in her classroom is happy to be there, and any parent is thrilled to have their child learn by her side.
Janet Rivas Click here to vote
I am honored to nominate Mrs. Janet Rivas as Richmond’s Top Teacher of 2012! Mrs. Rivas is a Pre-K teacher at Southampton Elementary School with Richmond Public Schools. I had the pleasure of substituting alongside Mrs. Rivas for a week. Not only did her students learn a great deal during that time, but also the lessons I learned were extremely valuable to me as a new substitute teacher. Mrs. Rivas takes a personal responsibility for her students’ educational growth. Not only through books, but teaching them about respect, treating each other kindly and doing the right thing. She is able to get the parents involved as well. The week I was in her classroom, she had parent volunteers every day. On one day, there were five parents volunteering. It was clear she has a wonderful working relationship with the parents and it is reflected in the performance of the students. She respects them and clearly, the feeling is mutual. Thank you for your consideration of Mrs. Janet Rivas.
Jennifer Cronk Click here to vote
Jennifer teaches first grade at Swansboro Elem. The children she teaches face many challenges in their daily lives. She truly cares about these children and uses creative ways to make learning fun. I have joined her classroom on several occasions to bring fun craft activities to the children. This allows them to use their imaginations to create fun projects that will reinforce a subject that they are learning. Jennifer is also very resourceful in finding ways to fund projects for her classroom. She regularly puts requests on Doners Choice and this has resulted in funding for some of her classroom needs. Jennifer believes in continuous education and is always learning new teaching techniques. Her dedication to our children’s education makes her my pick for 2012 Top Teacher.
Jet Burton Click here to vote
As my son became preschool aged I was very nervous about sending him from being home with me almost every day each week to Richmond’s VPI program – 5 days a week 9-3. My son’s teacher, Jet Burton, made it a seamless transition. Not a day has gone by that my son has not been excited about going and I feel a lot of that is because of Mrs. Burton. I was also hesitant because I am a former teacher myself. I know how annoying teachers as parents can be! Well, I also have learned so much from Jet! She is a great communicator. She takes the time to send letters home each Friday in all the kids folders informing us of what they learned and what’s coming up next week. She has a website and posts pictures of what they do during the day. She sees my son as an individual and not just a part of the group by sending home specific learning games geared for where HE is educationally. I truly feel each day is celebrated in her classroom as KIDS when it’s so easy to take the fun out of learning today.
Kathy Denton Click here to vote
Kathy Denton is a warm, engaging, organized and super structured first grade teacher. She has an inviting classroom in which she stands at the door each morning greeting each child as they enter setting the tone for their day. Kathy has built a real community in her classroom through songs, mission and value statements (that the kids know, live and breathe) and other team building activities. The children know very clearly what is expected of them and they always strive to live up to her expectations. Kathy is also known as the tooth fairy. Any child with a loose tooth loves to get it to the point where he/she can go see Mrs. Denton to get it pulled. Kathy has my daughter this year. She is a child who needs clear boundaries but needs to know that she is loved and appreciated for who she is. This she has with Kathy and she knows it. My daughter is happy and thriving and is having a fantastic year – all than
Kim Thurston Click here to vote
Mrs. Thurston is a wonderful Kindergarten teacher for my child. My daughter Lillian has celiac disease and my wife and I were very concerned about sending her to school. Celiac disease nearly took our daughter away from us five years ago (she was diagnosed at age 1) and because of that we are very involved with everything she eats or touches. Mrs. Thurston has been a God send for Lilly and us. Whenever there’s a craft or activity that involves food or anything that could contain gluten, she either e-mails or calls me ahead of time to ask about ingredients. If she’s not sure about something, she will err on the side of caution. Lilly looks forward to going to school every day and the main reason is Mrs. Thurston.

Maria Rodriguez Click here to vote
Miss Maria is a model teacher. She sparks the child’s academic curiosity and interest; at whatever level that child enters her class. She individualizes her lessons to each child. I was always amazed at how well she knew each child and where they were academically and how to get them to the next step. Miss Maria’s classroom management was exemplary. My child felt safe socially and he was in an environment where learning was cool. I have three children and was amazed at how the entire class appeared academically motivated and worked well together to learn more. I attribute this to Miss Maria.
Mary Victoria Carll Click here to vote
It is rare to see such a caring and energetic teacher as Miss Carll. She is in teaching because she loves her students and wants them all to succeed in life and make a difference in their community. She encourages and challenges her students to become not just better academically, but as better and more compassionate teenagers. Her teaching methods are fun and alternative and dedicated to giving her students a wonderful experience. Ms. Carll is a Spanish teacher at Community High School. Thank you
Melissa Thurston Click here to vote
If the dictionary had a reference for “the ideal Kindergarten teacher”, the definition would contain words like compassionate, energetic, self-sacrificing, fun, friendly, patient and loving. Next to that definition, you would find a picture of Melissa Thurston. Ms. Thurston always has a smile on her face. She encourages each child to develop his or her individual talents and helps them embrace their own unique personalities. She fosters a love of learning and gives them a solid foundation for moving forward in their education. Having been blessed to have her as a Kindergarten teacher for three of our children, we have been able to see each of them grow and mature in their first year of school. They each have different personalities and learning speeds, but have all thrived in Kindergarten, thanks to the attention and care of Ms. Thurston. Nothing speaks of her virtues more than the love of her students and their parents. I can think of no more deserving candidate.”
Michelle Moon Click here to vote
Heart and soul – those are a few words I would use to describe Mrs. Michelle Moon. She puts everything she has into teaching her students. Mrs. Moon teaches the whole student not simply the academics, but nurtures their minds by setting high expectations for compassion and responsibility. My son was fortunate enough to have Mrs. Moon as his teacher and she saw potential in him that even as his mother I did not see. Under her supportive guidance he rose to the occasion and participated in activities that I think even surprised him. Without a doubt she brings out the absolute best in her students. If one needs test scores and other quantitative measures of learning to determine if Mrs. Moon is an exceptional teacher, she well she had those statistics too. Her students are wildly successful on various testing and assessments.
I truly appreciate this opportunity to nominate Mrs. Michelle Moon as Richmond’s 2012 Top Teacher because simply put she deserves the recognition.
Michelle White Click here to vote
My son had Mrs. White last year for second grade and I was the room mom so I spent a lot of time with Mrs. White and observed her with the students. She was always patient with them and answered their questions in ways that made them think and understand. During the year, I heard parents of her students talk about how happy their child was in her class and how much they learned. I especially heard from several moms with kids that were ADD/ADHD about how happy they were that their child was finally having a good year. Then as I was out in the community, every time I mentioned Mrs. White, someone would tell me their child at one time had her and he/she just blossomed that year. To me, any good teacher can teach but to be a great teacher, you have to be able to teach all personality types and that is where Mrs. White shines. It does not matter whether the child is shy or hyper, they will have a great year under her guidance.
Misty Turner Click here to vote
Ms. Turner is an extraordinary teacher at Shady Grove Elementary School in Glen Allen, Va. She goes beyond what is expected of a 3rd grade teacher. She always has a smile on and a positive attitude. She is firm, but still holds command of her class. Her class is always excited to be near her and looks forward to interesting topics she brings to them.
Nanci Child Click here to vote
Nanci Child from Colonial Trail Elementary School is most deserving of the Richmond Top Teacher Award. She is a wonderful, experienced teacher who gives 110% every day! Two of my three children have had her for kindergarten and she has given them an excellent foundation to build upon. She has a great sense of humor and always goes above and beyond to make the school experience special! I wish I had another child to send to her classroom!
Nikki Walsh Click here to vote
I am nominating Miss Walsh for Top Teacher Award 2012 because she goes way over what is expected of her. She loves her students and does everything in her power to make sure they are learning not only what they should but way above that. She makes learning fun and uses as many fun things as possible to keep her students interested. Miss Walsh uses music, stories and plays to keep her students loving learning. Miss Walsh is always available to tutor and help her students. Miss Walsh is loved by not only her students but many others as well.
Phaedra C. Clark (2 nominations) Click here to vote
As a teacher, coach of two middle school sports and adoptive mom of 4 special needs children one cannot help but realize that Mrs. Clark is a dedicated child advocate. She motivates her students with innovative and fun teaching techniques. She incorporates her love for all children in her lessons. I believe that this overflowing sense that children are our future caused her to pursue a career in teaching. She chose middle school as her venue. Perhaps the hardest children to reach and motivate because they are basically hormones with legs at this stage of their lives she is so very successful at reaching them. Her test scores are top notch and she will always go that extra mile. For all of these and more Mrs. Clark is most deserving of the Richmond’s Top Teacher 2012 Award. Please cast your vote for her today.
This mother of 4 teaches full time and coaches as well. She is the head soccer coach and basketball coach at Tomahawk Creek Middle School. She gives 110% to her students, always. She volunteers her time to RAL as well. She’s a treatment foster care parent, and a wonderful mother to her four children. I am lucky to know her, and she deserves to been voted as Richmond Top Teacher because she is a wonderful teacher, not only in the classroom but in all aspects of life.

Mr. Rice is the best teacher I can think of. He is very interactive with his class and loves to get to know every student personally. I think that is a great quality in teachers that you don’t see a lot anymore.

Simone Cheeks Click here to vote
Simone Cheeks teaches in a self-contained special education classroom at Mary Munford Elementary School. She teaches children on the Autism Spectrum, children with intellectual disabilities, and children with other learning differences. Ms. Cheeks is a firm believer in the philosophy that all students are dignified learners. If I stop by the classroom, she always takes a minute to proudly show me the work that my daughter has completed, or to have the students demonstrate to me what they are learning that day. Ms. Cheeks teaches in a tiny classroom right next to the Music room. She never complains and always makes the best with what she has. I know she spends a lot of her own money on her students, even though she has her own family to support. Ms. Cheeks is the most patient person I know and always has a smile on her face, even on days I know are challenging. She is determined that every child live up to his or her potential and will never give up on any of her students.
Suzanne Beck Click here to vote
Mrs. Beck is one amazing teacher. Her love for children, learning, and the need for children to love academics is one like I have never seen before. She has made my 6 year son love not only school, books and learning. He has come so far and truly because she has the patience of saint! She is soft spoken and talks to the children like every day in her classroom is magical and the kids feel that way every day.
Tamara Johnston Click here to vote
Ms. Johnston has great passion for science and for teaching. She also has a special gift for motivating our special needs son in her class. This passion and motivation has made science Matthew’s favorite class this year. She is not only the teacher for 6th grade Science at TCMS, she is also a team leader for Tribe and works so well with parent volunteers. We are blessed to have her in our teaching team this year.
Tyler Hart Click here to vote
Mr. Hart is a teacher like no other. His innovative ideas and fun personality make him a favorite of all students at Springfield Park Elementary School. If you spend a short time in his class, you witness all students learning by doing. Unlike many traditional classrooms where students work quietly on skills at their seats, Mr. Hart’s class is full of action, productive chatter, and visible excitement. Examples of activities in his third grade class include students reciting rap poetry to learn multiplication tables, using cookie dough to make molds of the seven continents, and forming a human clock to practice telling time. Students learn while being entertained by a teacher who will drop items from the bus ramp roof to demonstrate scientific principles in action. His students have become experts in using iMovie to demonstrate new concepts and showcase their creativity. Mr. Hart’s boundless energy, fresh ideas, and love of teaching make him Richmond’s Top Teacher.

So another week of learning under my belt!
This week started in Art class. I taught one subject and students came to me. I began with 1st graders and ended with 5th graders. It gave me a look all the ages and classes in Elementary. I’M STILL GOING WITH PRE-K as my favorites.
Remember the snow pea story…well I had the opportunity to stick my head in the door of that class in the morning and boast, “Aren’t you glad you ate your snow peas?” At first glance, their look was one of horror! “OMG – that’s the teacher that makes us put our heads down forever!” screeched one child. I assured them I was only there to remind them about the snow peas. They were very excited about what they had done and couldn’t wait to have snow peas again! Now I’m off to prepare for a fun day of Art!
Ok, one would think Art Class…oh I’ve got this! NOT SO FAST! I was left instructions from the teacher to simply have the students make Valentine’s Day cards. Give them paper, crayons and markers ONLY! No scissors, no glue, no getting out of your seat, no loud talking, no asking to go to the bathroom, no water, JUST SIT AND MAKE A STUPID VALENTINE CARD! How hard would that be? Let me just start by saying, NO NAPS EITHER! First graders were just as I expected them to be…As soon as my instructions began, hands flew up… “Can I go to the bathroom?” “I need to get some water.” NO…and no to the next 35 questions you intend to ask over the next 40 minutes!
Then came the 2nd graders…exact same questions – AND SAME ANSWERS! Not too bad. Once we got the questions out of the way, they were extremely compliant!
By now, I’ve learned how to pick out the trouble makers. They are the ones that come in the room smiling and acting the most innocent. They always introduce themselves and ask your name. The evilness begins shortly thereafter.
Next 3rd graders! That’s quite an interesting age. I don’t think they know what their role is in the school food chain. They still have meltdowns–I do know that.
Then my quiet private lunch. I didn’t have to sit at the kids table. I picked up my Panda Pack and headed back to the art room.
When I walked into the cafeteria, my snow pea 1st graders all ran up to greet me – very much to the dismay of their teacher. But it was fun, nonetheless!
After lunch came: fourth graders. It appears that is the grade where they begin to “hate” the opposite sex but CAN’T QUITE STOP TEASING THEM AND TALKING TO THEM. The names they can come up with to call each other – amazing. It is definitely a boys vs. girls environment!
Then the dreaded 5th graders! They don’t want to do anything you ask them to do. They think, “Valentine’s Day is stupid and why do we have to make stupid cards?” They are definitely into impressing each other with how non compliant they can be.
At any rate, I survived the day. There was one very consistent during the day: the students always arrived early and left about five minutes late. Teachers had huge smiles on their faces at drop off and not so much when they came back to pick them up! I can certainly understand and appreciate the joy and pain!
In the end, I did have a “referral of good behavior” for my second graders. That is a note given to the person providing the afternoon announcements commending them on their excellent behavior during your art class. They get lots of kudos for stuff like that!
Then I was off to the great return of the Pre-K class at a new school for me. I had the same class for four-days straight. That was the first time I actually learned all seventeen student’s names. They were very sweet students; the first day was Valentine’s Day and boy did we party?
However, it’s really kind of hard to party too much:
So, we loaded them with sugar and then . . .Ah . . .nap time!
The one thing I noticed about this school: there were parents involved heavily! I was substituting for a teacher who had a death in her family and was to be out all week. Because the parents knew that, everyday, two-to-three parents showed up to volunteer and help anyway they could. WOW! At the other schools, I barely saw parents. They came to assist with the party – we had five parents do that. They came to help with breakfast and lunch. Shout out to all you parents who volunteer at your child’s school!
I managed to avoid a cold for my first 6 weeks of teaching, but not on week seven! It seems every child in that classroom had a cold. They either hadn’t learned or simply didn’t care about sneezing and coughing into elbows to catch the germs. So, all my Ziacam didn’t help at all. It finally got me! My first cold in two years. Good thing I have a long weekend to recoup!
Had a couple marriage proposals this week as well as a couple of “hair-fixings”. Even one invitation to move in with one kid! He didn’t want to let me bring my cat – so I had to sadly decline. Two wanted to move in with me. The Pre-K students were fantastic! There were a couple of “disrupters” but not on the “mean” level; they were just antsy.
Although, one did throw out the “f-bomb”. He was horrified, but told his father as soon as he arrived to pick him up and the next day apologized to the entire class for using inappropriate language! Of course, I suspect he had no idea what he had said, he just knew it was bad! Luckily, I don’t think any of the other students knew it either just the teacher who happened to hear it.
We did have a couple of drama queens. The least little thing that happened, they ran to me to let me know someone had horribly treated them or had some major injury. None could ever be identified. So I began responding with: shall I call the ambulance or Chief Norwood!? I explained that I knew Chief Norwood well and could have him there in a matter of minutes if they wished.
Back to the teacher; she was fantastic, and probably the best one I’ve worked with so far. Although, all of them have been very good – this particular teacher really LOVED HER STUDENTS! She was so incredibly patient with them and loved teaching them every single day.
She came to work two days with a migraine but insisted on being there to work with them. She said she feels like they are all her grandchildren and she truly treats them as though she is responsible for their futures!! I learned a great deal from her; those of you who know me know that my patience level is–well let’s just put it out there–NEAR ZERO! I learned more about patience from her than from anyone else I’ve known. She commanded their respect as well as the respect for each other and the classroom.
I was able to utilize my business skills. This week’s letter was “C”. I made a PowerPoint with pictures of my cat with his comments for
story time. THEY LOVED IT! (The teacher was very impressed as well.) They especially loved the one where he was laying on the bed watching President Obama’s State of the Union Address and the one where he had stuffed himself into a box half his size. We participated in art projects every day and I worked right along with them. My niece was the recipient of all my work–from the Valentine card, the Cat hand puppet made from a brown bag and construction paper to the letters upper-case C and the lower-case c made by gluing corn and cotton to construction paper (you had to be there!).
My very own refrigerator art! I was so very proud. I guess I should have given it to my Mom–next time Mom!

_______________________________________________________________________________
Allison Koontz
Allison’s personal dedication to the teaching profession and her students is unparalleled!
Amanda N. Corson
Ms. Corson strives to make learning Spanish fun! She is always seeking new ideas and ways to introduce the language through cultural events, spelling games (just ask about the fly swatter game), art, history, and anything that helps the students easily relate to a new language. She may seem eccentric to some, but the students love and respect her as their teacher! Ms. Corson is ready to blast forward into the 21st century utilizing modern learning techniques through the computer, specialized assignments, homework bulletin boards online, etc. She is an asset to Henrico County and Godwin High School!
Amy Adkins
Amy Adkins has been teaching for 30 years and still has the same spunk and enthusiasm as the day she started. As an elementary school science teacher, she gets her students excited about the field and encourages them to learn through exploration. Ms. Adkins is also well known for leading her students in a “Stir the Soup” dance to the song “I Will Survive” before each test, which helps each student relax and actually look forward to test day! In addition to her work as a teacher, Ms. Adkins uses her spare time helping homeless dogs find new adoptive families. She is a truly giving person and shares her love for animals with her students, who participate in an annual “Lend a Helping Paw” week where they donate supplies (such as dog food) and money to help homeless animals. I cannot imagine another teacher who deserves to be Richmond’s Top Teacher more than Amy Adkins. Her enthusiasm for teaching and her giving spirit are truly inspirational.
Amy Bristow
Ms. Amy Bristow is an extraordinary elementary level art teacher! She teaches each child that they have creative potential and pulls that potential out of them. She consistently uses famous artists and art history to inspire her students and teaches them the techniques to replicate each artist’s style. She not only instills a love of art in all students, but she also brightens Skipwith’s halls with their unique projects. For Art Appreciation Night, she went above and beyond to make sure every one of her over 400 students had at least one piece of art on display. After a slideshow showcasing their works, the curtain was drawn to reveal a sculpture they had created! The students felt pride seeing their individual efforts transform into a masterpiece! She is known for her energy, enthusiasm and the many incredible art displays she has created. She dedicates so much of her time and herself to making us all appreciate art. She is truly inspiring and deserves to be Richmond’s Top Teacher!
Ann Noack
Ann Noack has been an inspiring teacher for many years. She understands the importance of teaching different cultures and languages at a young age to make an impact on her students’ future. Mrs. Noack teaches French to Robious Elementary School students, grades K-5. Not only do her classes learn basic French vocabulary, but they also learn about the French culture–cooking, art, history, and geography. Mrs. Noack has even developed several exchange programs to bring students from France here to Richmond to enrich her students, but has also brought elementary students to France so they can completely immerse in the French culture. Mrs. Noack truly believes exposing children to a foreign language at a young age, will resonate in both their future schoolwork but also will broaden their cultural understanding. Mrs. Noack is truly an outstanding teacher!
Ashley George
Mrs. George is such a wonderful and inspiring teacher. My son is a handful, to say the least, but she knows what to say and do to get his attention. I appreciate and respect her patience and attentiveness. She makes all of her students feel special and you can see it every time she interacts with them. Being a teacher is a tough job and Mrs. George makes it look easy. Thanks for being a great inspiration to Moms and teachers everywhere.
Carolyn Alley
I nominate Mrs. Carolyn Alley for Richmond’s Top Teacher 2011 Award is based on her wonderful empathy and emotionally connecting with students at Holman Middle School. Mrs. Alley provides an environment of emotional exploration and fosters students’ compassion for those with special needs or worthy causes. She has a genuine concern for her student’s well-being. In Western Henrico County schools, the emphasis on academic achievement is important but the element of the inner self and reflection of these children as human beings developing into individuals is also critical at this stage of childhood. Mrs. Alley seems to recognize the importance of this and the struggles that students may have during this milestone period. We need more teachers who recognize the importance of fostering social-emotional development in the classroom.
Carter Lyons
Mrs. Carter Lyons is a 4th grade teacher at Laurel Meadow Elementary School. I nominated her for many reasons, among just being kind and caring, I can speak from personal experience how she actually takes the time with each child. My son started Laurel Meadows this year as a 4th grader coming from another school. He was nervous and dreaded going because he was afraid he wouldn’t know anyone or fit it. Carter made sure he never felt left out and she learned to “read” how he was feeling and would help him cope better. She went above and beyond what her job entailed and I will be forever grateful. There is nothing more upsetting to a mom then knowing her “baby” is sad, it broke my heart everyday to send him to school because of how he was feeling. Then one day he came home and said that Mrs. Lyons’ made him feel like he was going to be okay there. For a teacher that is amazing that she was able to do what I couldn’t! She will forever be my number 1 teacher!
Christine Herbert
I can’t say enough positive comments about Mrs. Herbert at Gayton Elementary and deeply feel like she overwhelmingly deserves to be a Top Teacher. This year, we were lucky enough to have Mrs. Herbert loop up with our daughter’s Kindergarten class to first grade. Mrs. Herbert possesses the perfect blend of caring, enthusiasm, humor, and challenges her students everyday to reach their potential. Reading is high on Mrs. Herbert’s priority list and her class can be seen reading in the lunchroom. Mrs. Herbert makes learning fun and enjoyable for the whole class. Mrs. Herbert is from England and had a fun day recently celebrating the Royal Wedding with the class wearing their Sunday best dress, tea, biscuits, sandwiches and English flags. What a great way to learn about other countries! She takes extra time and attention to help when students need it. She brings a sense of warmth and her class gets along so well with each other, she is like the mother hen taking care of everyone.
Cindy Harwood
Cindy Harwood is an exemplary Kindergarten teacher. When you walk in the door to her classroom you can feel the warmth – not only the warmth of the classroom but Mrs. Harwood’s warmth. She is very observant and makes a point to say something to each child, setting the tone for a great, positive day. The children know the routine and know that there are high expectations of them because her classroom is so well run. Mrs. Harwood provides many visual and auditory supports so that the children succeed in her room. Whenever a new concept or skill is presented a rhyme, saying or song accompanies it so that the children will remember. This also helps the parents so that we know what they are talking about! My child has been happy and successful this year. Her teacher appreciates her energy, her wild hair, her suggestions for alternate activities, everything and she doesn’t squash any of the enthusiasm she has for learning. Cindy Harwood is definitely a top teacher in my book!
Debbie Miller
Ms. Miller has been the very best early childhood teacher. She encourages and promotes an environment where learning can flourish. Her classroom is deigned to facilitate the development of knowledge. Ms. Miller’s open door policy has allowed me first hand to observe my daughter enjoy and move freely around to the various specific learning environments in order to read or complete a literacy activity in one center or transition to the math center where her imagination allows her to design or build anything she wishes all the while continuously stimulating her senses and promoting optimal development.Children are encouraged and motivated to be themselves. My daughter often comes home and through her descriptive reports and vivid retelling of her school day events I can tell she feels even more validated and celebrated for who she is. Mrs. Miller, who has a very diverse, racially mixed class seems to encourage and promote cultural and ethnic sensitivity and promotes tolerance for others.
Donna Brock
I am very blessed and honored to have had my children grow under the care of Ms.Donna as a preschool teacher. Year after year, Ms.Donna has been teaching 4 year olds at The Child Development Center of Wyndham. This Jungle Room has been her home away from home where she cares, nurtures, teaches and helps children grow into pre-k ready individuals. Ms.Donna is extremely patient and has a sense of humor that makes for a entertaining classroom and a great learning environment. This year Ms.Donna broke her ankle yet found a way to get back to her class that missed her so badly. Her drive to continue to teach from a wheel chair would make anyone proud to have a child in her class. (Plus the kids thought it was pretty cool!) Ms. Donna continues to touch the hearts of students and parents. I want to recognize her for all she does and continues to do for our children. She should definitely be commended for her dedication and commitment to our children and the school. Thanks Ms.Donna!
Donna Kirk
I’ve been blessed to have had both of my children have Ms.Donna Kirk in kindergarten. She is a phenomenal teacher, one who has an exceptional level of patience with children as well as pizazz to keep our little ones motivated and attentive. Her artistic abilities are off the charts! She uses her creativity to make the most awesome books that are sent home for review. Both of my children have thoroughly enjoyed bringing their books home to read with my husband and I. Ms. Kirk has the natural ability to create a foundation of love for learning through her energy and passion for working with children. She is truly my savior for planting seeds that my children will use for the rest of their academic lives. There is a quote I read that said something like “it’s easy to be a mediocre teacher and hard work to be an excellent one”. Ms. Kirk must go home exhausted at night from her days of hard work. She makes a difference by “reaching and teaching” every possible child.
Erin Vasconcellos
Mrs.V, as her students call her, is a very special person and gifted teacher. She teaches first grade at Henry Clay Elementary in Ashland. Mrs. V motivates her students to learn by teaching with compassion, understanding, patience and consideration for the different needs and learning styles of each of her students. Not only does her manner of teaching make for an enjoyable educational day for her students but also for the parents of her students. Sending my son off for his day of school with Mrs. V allows me to go to my job without the concern for I know that he, and his impulsivity, will come home as happy as he was when his day began!
Evelyn Boatwright
Mrs. Boatwright is a phenomenal teacher who herself never stops learning. For over 30 years she has instilled honor, love, and achievement into her students. A friend of mine told me a story of how in 3rd grade she had wet her pants. Mrs. Boatwright never made her feel embarrassed, but pulled the sobbing student up on her lap (wet pants and all) and explained to her how things were going to be just fine. This student remembers the incident vividly after 10 years, remarking how Mrs. Boatwright didn’t even let wet pants get in the way of making her feel better. She herself continues to learn. She moved from 3rd grade teacher, to middle school science teacher, even completed a master’s degree at an age when many would retire. To Mrs. Boatwright, teaching is more than a job. She takes the education of her students seriously, allowing them to be creative, while encouraging diversity and academic achievement. As a mother, I could not imagine a better teacher for my children.
Jane Butler
There are educators, and then there are teachers. As a physician for children and a lifelong child advocate, I have come to appreciate the difference and the profound value of a true teacher. Educators never win awards like this one. They have mastered the list of required knowledge and they pour those facts into our children so that schools have accreditation and kids have passing SOL scores. Then, there are TEACHERS. Jane Butler is a summa cum laude graduate of the school of true teachers. She sees each and every child in her sphere of influence, not as a “bucket to be filled, but a fire to be lit.” And I have sent more than a few on fire learners through her classroom! They could all read and do math at the end of her second grade experience…but they could do that before her class, too. Now, they read with gusto and “beyond where we’re supposed to pick from in the library.” This year’s class is writing its own book!
Jennifer Berdux
Mrs. Berdux (Mrs. B. as we call her) is the best teacher not only in Richmond, but the entire world! She is my 4th grade teacher at Gayton Elementary. When my mom told me about this contest, I knew I had to nominate her. I go to Gayton, so I know a thing or two about great teachers – but Mrs. B really stands out – and I mean really!!! I always liked school for the friends, but not so much for the learning. I did ok, but not great and was never really all that interested in learning. This year is different. Mrs. B teaches things in a way that makes me “get it.” She switches things around and teaches things differently so the different kids can learn it in different ways. She connects with all of us as individual students and not just as one class. When I come home, I think about what I have learned and what I want to learn tomorrow…That is what makes her a great teacher. Vote 4 Mrs. B she rocks!!
Jessica Blumberg
Loves the kids and is there for them!
Jillian E Bower
Ms. Jillian is an amazing teacher! She engages the children in fun and exciting yet educational activities. My daughter adores her and is sad if she is out for a day or two. Just this morning she didn’t want to stay because she thought Jillian is out. We appreciate all the long hours she puts in with all the kids. Her cheerful attitude and willingness to answer all off my questions! She also goes above and beyond and helps with the other children that aren’t in her class. We wish we could have her every year!
Julie Willoughby
She is one of the sweetest people I know, and my son still talks about how much he adores her, and he hasn’t been in her class in over a year. All her children love her, and that is a gift. I’m not saying she’s easy, she’s tough on the too. She’s a gifted teacher, who happens to love what she does. It shows. Also, she has a unique way of getting her students attention if they happen to be getting a little noisy or out of control. She starts playing her flute. The whole class quiets down and is mesmerized. I LOVE her!!!!
Kate Euting
Kate Euting is absolutely deserving of being recognized as the Richmond Top Teacher 2011. Kate teaches Kindergarten at Linwood Holton Elementary School in the city’s Northside. In her class, Kate has students from a wide range of backgrounds, students of every race, students from all kinds of families, students with every advantage & some with none. What each one of these children finds in her is a warm, loving, capable teacher who comes to class every day prepared to teach not only the academic lessons that will equip them, but the life lessons that will do so as well. Kate understands that helping her students become kind, thoughtful people is an important part of their journey just as teaching them to read, work with fractions, and write in a journal is. Kate Euting is an outstanding educator. The 20+ students who have been in her class this year have been blessed to begin their school years with such an outstanding teacher whose love & caring are communicated to them daily.
Kristen Coleman
I would like to nominate Richmond’s Top Teacher 2011 Award to Mrs. Kristen Coleman. Mrs. Coleman is my son’s Auston kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Coleman brings creativity and uniqueness to her classroom. At the beginning of the school year, my son’s classroom consists of nineteen children. Since that time, her class has migrated to twenty-one students. I am sure that the Principal and Henrico County School board felt that she could handle that many students. I have observed her on numerous occasions and I must say that I am proud that my son is one of her students. She is patient and gives each student the attention they deserve and needs. She uses various tools and tactics to hold the students attention which is extremely hard to do. She has alot of energy and carries out that energy until the students departure. Then she heads home to a baby and a husband. Maybe some readers feel that this nomination is a part of a teacher’s job, however, I say kudos to Mrs. Coleman and WHEW!
Laura Dugger
Mrs.Dugger is a 5th grade teacher at SGES and is extremely deserving of the Richmond’s Top Teacher Award. At the beginning of the school year. Mrs.Dugger stated to parents that a primary goal was to make learning fun and to instill in her class a love of learning. At the time, I didn’t realize how significant those words were, but now as these 5th graders are preparing to move onto middle school,it all begins to hit home. Mrs.Dugger teaches in a way that leaves kids feeling good about themselves. She teaches academics and character. She has a “can do” attitude that transfers onto her students. She has clear expectations. Throughout the year she has taken EVERY opportunity to do exactly what she set out to do and as a result has a group of pre-teens that are heading off to middle school with a sense of accomplishment, a “can do’ attitude and a positive mindset about school. Because of Mrs. Dugger, there is a group of kids that are better prepared for the fun and challenges of what lies ahead.
Lauren Brown
Lauren is one of the most enthusiastic, understanding, nurturing and caring teachers, ever! She understands that not all children learn the same way and/or at the same rate yet manages to enrich, encourage, and help all students enjoy learning.
Lynne Ellis
Mrs. Ellis is in her first year of full-time teaching. She teaches our son in the first grade and is doing such a wonderful job! She is patient and caring with each of her students. Any time I’ve ever had any concerns, she has addressed them promptly. She has worked wonderfully with our son in trying to help him catch up this year with various subjects. If I ask for additional materials to help him where he is having trouble, she never fails me. I couldn’t have asked for a better first grade teacher for him than he has in Mrs. Ellis.
Matt Togna
Mr. Togna is by far the best teacher i have experienced in my 11 years in Henrico county. He teaches Chemistry at Tucker High School. I have never met someone more dedicated to what they do for a living, especially teaching. He absolutely has a passion for his job, and he will argue head on that there needs to be more teachers in this world: then I would say that there needs to be more like him! He arrives at approximately 7am: a time when most students, principals, and other teachers are still snuggled away in bed. He doesn’t leave until almost 6pm. The dedication to being a life long learner is profound. In the classroom, he is funny and energetic, which gets the students excited about Chemistry or AP Chem. he is always available for help. His idiosyncrasies are also very funny which makes learning with him fun. He has changed my perspective on career choice. I relate well with him because he plays trumpet, and is a UVA alum!!I think Matt Togna is quite deserving of this award.
Melinda Steele
Ms. Steele is a wonderful fourth grade teacher. She has worked with my son and myself to prepare him for success for fifth grade and life in general. My son is on medication and she is more than willing to fill out the appropriate evaluation forms that accompany taking this medication as well as offer additional feedback to me as well. In a classroom party, I noticed that Ms. Steele preferring to hang out and play games with the children rather than catch up and “gossip” with the parents!! She loves her students and the are very well aware of that. Overall, she has a very open door policy for students and parents. She emails the parents to let us know of upcoming events in class and in the school and she makes sure the students are all on task as well. Ms. Steele, fourth grade teacher at Gates Elementary is a most definite candidate of the 2011 Top Teacher Award!
Mesa Hinkle
Mrs. Hinkle holds high, yet realistic expectations for her students. Expectations are clearly understood, giving her students the confidence they need to succeed. She provides differentiated instruction to meet the needs of every child using flexible grouping & leveled materials. She continually assesses students, using results to guide instruction. She frequently pulls small groups of children for either enrichment or reinforcement. She is creative in using a variety of instructional methods to address different learning styles, keeping her students actively engaged. She continually strives to build positive relationships with each child & with each child’s parent(s). This emphasis on healthy and productive interpersonal skills is reinforced in student interactions with one another. Children in her class feel valued and loved because she takes the time to actively listen & truly get to know them, both inside the walls of her classroom & in the community. It is a rare occurrence for her to miss a school Spirit Night. The children always enjoy seeing her whether it’s for dinner, ice cream, or for a game of laser tag. She shares weekly electronic reports with parents that include a comprehensive description of material covered in class. She offers suggestions of how parents can support their child’s learning, and provides references books and/or websites that can be used at home. She nurtures her students with guidance & love, motivates, inspires, and challenges children. Mesa Hinkle is most deserving of this award.
Mindy Guyer
The lovely Mrs. Mindy Guyer, a mother of three, is one of the hardest working mom’s we know. She takes pride in her work and works tierlessley to help her students succeed. It’s clear that she loves her students as much as she loves what she teaches. (: Mindy Guyer Mrs.Guyer is my french 2 teacher. I hated french until I got into Mrs. Guyers class, I have learned so much and had a lot of fun with it. I was considering dropping out and just getting my GED but Mrs. Guyer convinced me that if i continue to work hard the payoff will be extraordinary. This year I have also learned how busy teachers are and how hard they work. She is the best teacher in Richmond and I am sure is the best mother. Mindy Guyer Mrs. Guyer is my favorite teacher this year. I love walking into my 4th period everyday because I know that I will have a great time. If I need help or advice, she is always there to give it to me. She talks to me like an equal, rather than a student, which allows my learning experience to be amazing! This year I have seen how busy my teachers can get. Mrs. Guyer manages to juggle her busy life, be a great mom and an amazing teacher everyday. Mrs. Guyer is truly an amazing teacher and I believe that she deserves this award from the bottom of my heart.
Mrs. Duckworth
I am nominating Mrs. Duckworth because she is very loving, patient with my son, and really cares about her students. She is a speech pathologist and has been working with my son for a few months and he loves her. My son only had a vocabulary of about 5 words, but after working with her he has now over 15 words. I don’t know of anybody else who is more deserving so please take the time to consider her. Thank you.
Nancy Pierpont
She works hard and challenges her students on a daily basis. She keeps parents updated on their students progress and is available to help. She’s a leader at the school as department chair.
Rebecca Meade Wood
Rebecca gives out of her heart. She is always thinking about the kids and their future. They show her respect as she shows them respect also. You can’t find a better teacher. Rebecca Wood has been an exceptional education teacher at Varina High School for the last 9 years. Her focus is mainly on at-risk students. She does everything she can to empower these young men and women to overcome their disabilities. In doing so she teaches a COWEP class where students have the ability to work both on and off campus learning important job skills. This year her students worked with Rescue Dogs at Battlefield Park Kennel. Her students love and respect her and she has made amazing strides in finding them employment and helping them get into college. Over the last nine years Mrs. Wood has made a huge impact on the Varina Community. She has truly made a difference in the lives of her students and their parents. rebecca wood Rebecca Wood is my English teacher and she is the best ever I could ever ask for. I’ve known her for a very long time! She is a super great teacher and she has two kids named Tommy and Elayna that she loves very much.
Ryan Stein
Ryan Stein is a top teacher. His innovative way of teaching has encouraged his students to achieve at levels above the standard lesson. He teaches by example, giving up his free time to tutor students, help out colleagues, attend students activities and organzing weekend fieldtrips to enhance a history lesson. He is a humble teacher, you can thank him for a child achieving a goal and he will say, “It was all them, they worked hard.” This may be true, but it is the person in the classroom nurturing their zest for learning that helped them achieve that goal. He makes learning fun, they are learning even when they don’t realize it. He encourages his class to not only work hard and be good students but also good citizens. Anyone can be a teacher but only certain people can be the educator you remember for a lifetime. Mr. Stein is that teacher that my daughter will remember for a lifetime. He has encouraged her and her classmates to go forth and become anything they want to be in life.
Terri Kilmer (2 nominations)
I am the school nurse here at Tucker High School. This year, the county implemented an online program called e2020 that is designed to help kids that learn better in an alternative setting. Being the nurse, I know many of the students that were placed in the e2020 classroom. Ms. Kilmer, the teacher for this class has gone above and beyond the call of duty to encourage the children and help them find their strengths and pass the classes taken online. Since this program is “new”, many unknowns were overcome and successfully implemented by Ms. Kilmer. She has had the highest success rate of any other school in the county and takes time on the evenings and weekends to help the students succeed. She is more than deserving of this award. Any student, parent, co-worker or friend knows how much she loves her job and loves to see the kids succeed.
Terri Kilmer is a “top notch” teacher. She motivates her students to far exceed even their own expectations. She is an encourager and helps her students reach their full potential. She enjoys her students and enjoys teaching. She has made great strives with the Credit Recovery Program she is working with this year, and her students at J.R. Tucker High School are on the road to graduation with the extra push Miss Kilmer and this program have offered. Terri is willing to pitch in to get the job done, no matter how small or how large. Terri Kilmer is most deserving to be recognized as Richmond’s Top Teacher, 2011

Allison Koontz VOTE HERE
Allison’s personal dedication to the teaching profession and her students is unparalleled!
Amanda N. Corson VOTE HERE
Amy Adkins VOTE HERE
Amy Adkins has been teaching for 30 years and still has the same spunk and enthusiasm as the day she started.
Amy Bristow VOTE HERE
Ann Noack VOTE HERE
Ann Noack has been an inspiring teacher for many years.
Ashley George VOTE HERE
Carolyn Alley VOTE HERE
I nominate Mrs.
Carter Lyons VOTE HERE
Christine Herbert VOTE HERE
I can’t say enough positive comments about Mrs.
Cindy Harwood VOTE HERE
Cindy Harwood is an exemplary Kindergarten teacher.
Debbie Miller VOTE HERE
Donna Brock VOTE HERE
I am very blessed and honored to have had my children grow under the care of Ms.Donna as a preschool teacher.
Donna Kirk VOTE HERE
I’ve been blessed to have had both of my children have Ms.Donna Kirk in kindergarten.
Erin Vasconcellos VOTE HERE
Mrs.V, as her students call her, is a very special person and gifted teacher.
Evelyn Boatwright VOTE HERE
Jane Butler VOTE HERE
There are educators, and then there are teachers.
Jennifer Berdux VOTE HERE
Jessica Blumberg VOTE HERE
Loves the kids and is there for them!
Jillian E Bower VOTE HERE
Julie Willoughby VOTE HERE
She is one of the sweetest people I know, and my son still talks about how much he adores her, and he hasn’t been in her class in over a year.
Kate Euting VOTE HERE
Kate Euting is absolutely deserving of being recognized as the Richmond Top Teacher 2011.
Kristen Coleman VOTE HERE
I would like to nominate Richmond’s Top Teacher 2011 Award to Mrs.
Laura Dugger VOTE HERE
Mrs.Dugger is a 5th grade teacher at SGES and is extremely deserving of the Richmond’s Top Teacher Award.
Lauren Brown VOTE HERE
Lauren is one of the most enthusiastic, understanding, nurturing and caring teachers, ever! She understands that not all children learn the same way and/or at the same rate yet manages to enrich, encourage, and help all students enjoy learning.
Lynne Ellis VOTE HERE
Ellis.
Matt Togna VOTE HERE
Melinda Steele VOTE HERE
Mesa Hinkle VOTE HERE
Mindy Guyer VOTE HERE
The lovely Mrs.
Mrs. Duckworth VOTE HERE
I am nominating Mrs. Thank you.

Ryan Stein VOTE HERE
Ryan Stein is a top teacher.
