I hope "people" understand this is no "small" undertaking for her, but somehow balances being a great mother to her little "munchkin" and a champion for arthritis. They say how do you eat a giant? One bite at a time, and Erica is taking every "midget" bite she can out of this disease. Love you girl! Just to add to that paragraph above...you are an amazing friend, too. After running this race in the freezing cold, she still managed to stop by the hospital to visit with me and my newborn. Most of us would've been in the shower, in bed, curled up in the fetal position on pain meds...or whatever, but you looked radiant after that run and I hope you keep it up!
