Babystuff & Kids2 Annual Sidewalk Sale – Don’t miss the chance to get great items at great prices! July 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Check out other sidewalk sales at the same time in the Westgate Shopping Center across from Short Pump Mall and don’t miss Tweed’s sales too!
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels – The hilarious comedy is still at the Empire Theater. Don’t miss it!
Pirates of the Chemotherapy – a play about women fighting breast cancer and learning to LIVE! You don’t want to miss this and proceeds benefit the VCU Massey Cancer Center. Performances are 8:00 p.m. on July 8 and 9.
The Little Red Hen – Plenty of fun at the Barksdale in Willow Lawn. It’s a side-splitting, foot-stomping country musical spin on the classic tale. Tickets are $14-18 per person. And don’t forget to enjoy lunch with Chick-fil-A nuggets or sandwich, brownie and chips for just $4 per person.
Cow Appreciation Day at ANY Chick-fil-A – Come dressed like a cow from head to hoof and we’ll reward you with a FREE meal. The Richmond BBQ Crawl –Richmond’s first traveling BBQ sampling tour/festival. Bus leaves from Grandpa Eddie’s BBQ restaurant at 1:00 p.m. (11129 Three Chopt Road). Virginia Museum of Fine Arts – Faberge Revealed: In summer 2011, VMFA will feature the largest collection of Fabergé in the United States. The exhibition includes more than 500 objects and will be at VMFA July 9 – October 2. The Russian jeweler Karl Fabergé crafted objects for the Russian imperial family in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including specially commissioned Easter eggs. VMFA’s collection, the largest public collection of Fabergé outside of Russia, includes five of the thirteen Russian imperial Easter eggs that are in the United States.
