I know, who would think that a cup of pee could be so awesome. I was truly surprised she did it. The timing was right *full bladder and hadn’t had an accident yet. I feel liked I glossed over the monumental task of getting Kate potty trained – and still dealing with accidents – but the focus was on the achievement that day. Celebrate the microscopic milestones right (stealing from the line “Celebrate the little things in life”).
And Dora – yes – huge – and she is engaging in it more and more. I bought here a life sized Dora balloon for her birthday this year. Hilarious. I think she actually thought it was Dora. She dragged that thing around for a week.

Beautiful writing. I was laughing and crying at the “yes, people, here is our pee, we filled this cup, and we couldn’t be prouder!” line. Those are some huge milestones Kate has reached!! So happy for you all :) Dora has gotten us through many icing sessions (after a fall) so I know the power of distraction that tv is ;)
