Camp Blue Sky at Rainbow Station
Camp Blue Sky is divided into three divisions according to the ages of our campers. While each division is involved in our traditional day camp program, all of our activities are designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of the campers in each division. Within each division, campers are put into small groups based on age and gender.

Camp Open Arms
Come be a part of a fun summer here at Camp Open Arms!  You can choose one, two or all thirteen weeks of camp activities.  We’ll explore the Art of Science, Traveling Around the World, Bubbling Over, Camping Fun, plus many more fun activities!  Children 2 1/2 to rising Kindergartners can enjoy half or full day programs.

Camp Sunshine
Campers will explore a new theme each week through art, movement, water play, music and much more. We strive to help children grow in all aspects of their development through the power of play. We help each child develop a positive self-image, and independence. During our 5-day camps children will build on their fine and gross motor skills and develop higher-level thinking skills. Camps are designed especially for children ages 3 to 5 1/2 years old.

Center for Creative Arts
Choose from Dance Camps, Art Camps, Robotics Camps, Chess Camps, and Musical Theatre Camps. Most camps are half-day.

Club SciKidz - RichmondmomClub SciKidz

Club SciKidz is a place where Science and Technology Connect! Imagine a day camp that is designed to offer children a choice of many different science and technology themes. Themes include experiments and projects in Video Game Creation, Robotics, Veterinary Medicine, Crime Scene Investigation, Culinary Science, Paleontology, Engineering, Space, Biology, Chemistry, Oceanography, LEGO Robotics and much more. At Club SciKidz, we believe that every child is a scientist. Our camps inspire interest in science, technology and nature by involving children in the creation of a multitude of take-away projects in each camp. The camps provide hands-on, minds-on activities for children ages 4-15. Camp Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm. Pre camp starts at 8 am and post camp ends at 5:30 pm.

The officially-fun, officially-famous Romp n’ Roll Summer Camp is coming back to the Central and Chesterfield locations of the Children’s Museum of Richmond! The camp provides flexible drop-off and pick-up windows to accommodate your busy summer schedule! Camp is for children ages 2 through 5 years, and potty training is not required. Our daily schedule begins with supervised exploratory play in the museum and then transitions to “kid-tested, Rompy-approved” gym, art, and music fun!

CommuniKids Summer Camp is a wonderful way to introduce your child to a new language or support language acquisition. Our language-Immersion summer camp for ages 18 months to 10 years combines traditional summer fun with an educational experience and is offered in Spanish and Mandarin.

James River Camp
Discover the environmental features of the historic James River as 17th century Virginia Indians and the Colonial English would have encountered it. Paddle a kayak and identify how the plants and animals of the river were hunted, gathered and used throughout history. Understand the course changes made at Dutch Gap during the Civil War and see how it is used today.

Melody Magic Music Studio
Join us this summer for a week your child will never forget! Rainbow Station Amazing Races and Places

The officially-fun, officially-famous Romp n’ Roll Summer Camp will run at all Richmond locations from May 24 through September 1 for children ages 2 through 5 years, and potty training is not required. Our daily schedule is action-packed with “kid-tested, Rompy-approved” sessions including incredible gym, art and music activities. It’s like a big kids’ camp on training wheels; all the fun, learning, and excitement but without the poison ivy!

A Sabot SummerA Sabot Summer

A Sabot Summer, for children ages 3 – 11.  is designed to combine the structure and novelty of themed morning camps with afternoon child care featuring relaxed, open-ended, and varied experiences. Summer programs include Engineering with Legos, Superhero Studio, Gardening, A Maker Camp,  Forest Camp, Spanish Immersion, and more. Each week-long Sabot Camp offering provides children with engaging opportunities for exploring and developing skills, sparking new ideas and interests, and fostering imagination and enthusiasm for the world around them. Our afternoon program is tailored to the needs of families who need continuity in child care for summer months. SPARCSPARC summer camps

The School of Performing Arts in the Richmond community – SPARC – has provided incredible performing arts experience to students in the Richmond area for over 30 years. SPARC has full-day and half-day camps for students ages 4 to 18. Our summer camps are filled with singing, acting, dancing, friends and fun! With camps from June to August, every student can find a camp to make them shine.
