This award-winning, practically perfect musical follows the charming Mary Poppins on an enchanting journey through the streets of London. Based on the classic 1964 Disney film and children’s books by P.L. Travers, you’ll want a front row seat to this magical adventure, featuring supercalifragilistic-expialidocious songs and breathtaking rooftop dance numbers!
At the top of the show, we are introduced to the dysfunctional Banks family. The mischievous children, Jane and Michael, are so misbehaved that they have just forced another nanny to quit. Then, Mary Poppins unexpectedly arrives and moves into the family’s home at 17 Cherry Tree Lane to take on the job. With a little bit of magic, Mary Poppins takes the Banks children, and the audience, on unforgettable adventures, teaching them empathy, good behavior and helping to bring the entire Banks family closer together.
The production is sure to delight, especially as Mary Poppins flies over the London rooftops. Those who are familiar with the popular Disney film and Travers’ books will see elements of both in this stage adaptation, but there are many unique elements that ensure it will be a new experience you will thoroughly enjoy from beginning to end!
