SAT Scores and Testing – In 1900, the College Board was created to expand access to higher education. Formed by a handful of colleges, the purpose was to simplify the application process for students and college admission offices. More than a century after evaluating those first few test-takers, they’re helping more than seven million students prepare for a successful transition to college each year, and they continue to serve the education community.

State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) – The purpose of SCHEV’s website is to provide to college resources to students and parents. Find an overview of the different sources of available financial aid. SCHEV makes higher education public policy recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly in such areas as capital and operating budget planning, enrollment projections, institutional technology needs, and student financial aid. SCHEV administers a variety of educational programs that benefit students, faculty, parents, and taxpayers. SCHEV serves as a catalyst to promote greater access, quality, affordability, and accountability throughout the system. SCHEV also helps policymakers, college administrators, and other concerned leaders work cooperatively and constructively to advance educational excellence.

Student Loans Student loans offer a variety of deferment options and extended repayment terms. Student loans include the Federal Stafford and Federal Perkins Loans.
