From history to art to creative play, Richmond’s museums offer a variety of settings and backdrops to give your baby shower some extra flair. Children’s Museum of Richmond

The Valentine

This private museum dedicated to Richmond’s history offers up elegance, class and style – just like the city itself. Ideal for a larger shower or a co-ed event, the Valentine offers indoor and outdoor event space for as many as 150 people or as few as 20. Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) features exhibitions and installations to rival the world’s finest museums. Historic Settings

Richmond offers history on every street corner – quite literally. Fortunately, there are plenty of venues that allow you to be a part of that history as you celebrate life’s special events in many of the same places that our city’s founders lived, worked and celebrated their own lives.

Hanover Tavern Restaurant and Pub

This 18th century tavern represents some of Virginia’s oldest history and offers a picture-perfect baby shower setting. The Hippodrome Theater and The Speakeasy Grill
