Tuesday Kid’s Day at Berkeley Plantation

August 28, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Berkeley Plantation is offering free admission to children every Tuesday during the months of June, July and August. Children will learn Colonial and Civil War history, explore the gardens, grounds and river shore, see our ninth president’s birthplace and walk the same floors as our founding fathers. We offer colonial games, a nature hunt and children’s activities throughout the day.
Each child, ages 16 and under, is admitted free with paying adult. Tickets are purchased upon arrival and reservations are required for groups of 10. Berkeley Plantation, a Virginia and National Historic Landmark, is located halfway between Richmond and Williamsburg off scenic Route 5. The Gift Shop and ticket office is open 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Grounds and exhibits are open until 5:30 for ticketed guests. For those families wanting to cycle along Route 5 corridor to Berkeley, the Virginia Capital Trail, a paved pedestrian and bicycle trail, runs through Charles City with available parking just off Route 5 near Berkeley’s entrance.
