Richmond Indoor Play Areas for Kids

Indoor Play Areas in Richmond

Richmond offers some of the best parks, river paths, hiking trails, and outdoor fun in the state. We can all agree on that. And when the weather is agreeable, we can count ourselves lucky to live in such an amazing city. But when the weather turns, we can often feel at a loss for creative ways to keep the kids active.

While a cold day (or a rainy day…or a hot day) can easily send me running to the couch for a day of Netflix and a cozy blanket, my kids usually have different ideas. Fortunately, the weather doesn’t have to keep you – or your kids – inside the house. Richmond offers a wide array of indoor activities, from museums to indoor play areas, that will keep your entire family entertained in even the worst of weather.

The following list offers some of the top indoor play areas and activities in the Richmond area. The best part is that most of them are inexpensive…and many are even free.

Check the following categories to find the right spot for you and your family:

Bounce Houses and Trampoline Parks
