Ron Berg, Steel Erection Sr. Estimator

Ron Berg knows bridge building; and he should - he has been doing it for 40 years. As the Sr. Estimator for the steel division he is responsible for preparing accurate estimates and bid packages. Ron is involved in contract negotiation, cost tracking and performance analysis. Ron’s input into constructability has proven invaluable to customers who have been able to avoid cost and schedule overruns due to potential design issues.
Ron has been a member of J&L since 2001. Prior to joining J&L, he was employed by Lunda Construction where he managed all aspects of construction as an area field superintendent. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Building Construction.
Ron is married and has six grown children. He enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.

What is one fun fact about yourself? My favorite time in life was raising my two sons.
