Ron Severson is someone who is committed to doing things right and with the highest ethical standards.  His strong leadership is evident in the professional financial systems that contribute to the success of each project.  Ron is responsible for monitoring and evaluating job costs, overseeing accounts receivables and accounts payables, and monitoring work in progress.  Ron’s philosophy on financial management, “know where you are at”. Careful tracking of job costs and evaluation of work in progress are key factors in achieving financial success. 

Ron has been the Controller for J&L since 2000.  He was a partner with a public accounting firm prior to joining J&L.  Ron received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Gustavus Aldophus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.  He served in the United States Navy for over 3 years as a junior officer, Lieutenant Junior Grade, on a destroyer in charge of the engineering spaces, engines and boilers.

Ron is married and has three grown children.
