The event includes a chip-timed, flat and fast 5K race, a leisurely one-mile dog jog for canines and their human companions, as well as a vendor fair featuring activities for pets and children, dog agility demonstrations, music, food, shopping and more!

Not only is the Dog Jog and 5K Run one of Richmond’s favorite pet- and family-friendly events, the event also raises more than $140,000 annually to benefit more than 3,500 orphaned pets that are cared for by the Richmond SPCA each year, and supports the lifesaving programs and services that we provide to the pets and people of our community.
