Candles for Richmond mom Martha Yarrington Nicholas

Martha & her husband, Steve

Many of us struggle with day-to-day challenges; few (hopefully) will ever have to have the daily struggle of dealing with cancer. One Richmond mom, Martha Yarrington Nicholas, does. She has a huge fan club cheering for her and they’re having a celebration for her this Sunday night, Candles for Martha Yarrington Nicholas.

We’d love for you to attend and/or spread the word. In the kind sentiment of a friend on Martha’s facebook page recently: I saw this quote today and instantly thought of you:
“Anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.

The event is being held: Sunday, April 3rd from -10pm:

Chester E. Fritz Stadium – Hermitage High School

8301 Hungary Spring Road
Richmond, VA

This is a huge showing in support of Martha in her continuous fight through cancer, and they’ll be selling “Cancer Sucks” t-shirts, the proceeds from which will go directly to her medical care. I am always overwhelmed at Richmond’s support of those in need and know you won’t let her down! Thank you–Kate Hall
