March is National Nutrition Month and what better time to embark on a healthier eating plan for your family?

Include color

The American Dietetic Association recommends that Americans “Eat Right with Color” in March and every month throughout the year. This means including a rainbow of color in every meal including fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Include red apples, purple grapes, beige oats, orange carrots, green beans, yellow squash, and lots of other colors on every plate.

Visit the Eat Right website for great tips on eating healthier and find good ways to celebrate National Nutrition Month with your family.

Enjoy a rainbow of foods and you’ll look and feel healthier!
