Don't miss historic garden week in Richmond, VA.

If you love Richmond — and who doesn’t! — then you will definitely love the upcoming garden week!

Richmond, Virginia’s 78th Annual Historic Garden Week is scheduled for April 16-23, 2011 with an incredible display of gardens across the State of Virginia. The beauty that surrounds our great state will be open to the public in every direction as lush gardens, immaculate landscapes, breathtaking views, and unforgettable gardens display their finest Spring attire.

From dramatic sloped gardens, layered stone terraces, and tantalizing rose gardens, to the quietude of a backyard filled with river birch, hydrangeas and azaleas, the garden tour is an amazing tribute to Virginia’s natural beauty.

Enjoy a garden tour, lounge during brunch at the Branch House on Monument Avenue, or lunch under the tent at Agecroft Hall. There are many ways to make this year’s garden week one to remember.

Richmond will host tours on Tuesday, April 19, Wednesday April 20, and Thursday April 21. Click here for the complete schedule and information on ticket prices and other details. Some of the Richmond areas highlighted include:
