Tornadoes have devastated people across the country.
The May 22 tornado that devastated Joplin, MO was a massive tornado that organized itself and destroyed everything in its path with unbelievable speed. Hundreds of people lost everything and many lost their lives.
This footage of the tornado captured the ferocity and speed as it unfolded and descended on Joplin — and the massive devastation in the aftermath.
We are blessed to live where this type of tornado rarely affects us, although many have been affected by recent tornadoes in our area. Today is a day that we all give thanks for our families and friends, and remember those who are suffering through loss and tragedy.
