The Science Museum of Virginia – STEM Essay Contest – Now through February 20 .Virginia First Lady Maureen McDonnell, the Virginia Council on the Status of Women and the Science Museum of Virginia, invite essay submissions from high school junior and senior women on their aspirations for pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) career. The winner will receive a $5,000 college scholarship and will be announced at the Science Museum of Virginia’s Up & Atom Women’s Leadership Breakfast on May 16, 2012.
