Please Help: Rummage for Rescue Animals

Looking for a way to volunteer and help others – and a fun way to teach children too?

Then it’s time to go through your drawers, attics and garages to find items for the HUGE yard sale to be held Saturday, July 21st. Household items, furniture, clothes, jewelry, toys, anything you want to get rid of it is welcome and can be sold to help rescue dogs. The Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation (AARF) needs your help.

Please drop off donations at the Saturday dog adoptions through July 14th. Stop by and drop-off at the Petsmart adoption stand from 11 am -2 pm located at 5515 W Broad Street, Richmond. If you cannot make it there but have items to donate, please email aarfva@hotmail.com with “yard sale” in the subject line.

This is a fun way to teach kids about volunteering, giving, and helping others – and they will love the animals they meet.

The actual sale, dog wash, and adoption event is Saturday July 21st at the AW Shucks Shell Station, 6100 Pouncey Tract Road, Glen Allen from 7 am-2 pm.
