Decode, Decipher, Discover Camps
Tuckaway offers “Decode, Decipher, Discover” summer camps. These fun camps are week-long events available for all age groups. You don’t have to sign up for the summer but can simply sign up for one week sessions when it’s convenient for you.
What makes these camps special and different?
They offer tons of interactive fun, but they also have a different them each week. And best of all, everything is included in the weekly fee. You don’t have to worry about additional charges for anything – it’s all-inclusive! Camps include activities such as:
- Swimming (lessons and sunscreen provided)
- Activity clubs
- Sports
- Arts and crafts
- Field trips

E3 – Eagle Extreme Excursions
Eagle Extreme Excursions (E3) challenge children’s sense of exploration and physical skills. With small groups of about 20 children and 2 counselors, there is plenty of attention for each child too. Groups stay together for the entire program which helps encourage development of relationships and social skills.
You do NOT have to be enrolled at Tuckaway to attend and you can pick and choose the dates that work best for you. Children must have finished 3rd grade to participate. Here’s a list of the exciting excursions planned for the summer:

- 7/12 – Tubing on the James River
- 7/18 – Kayaking on the Potomac River
- 8/3 – Swimming and Exploring at Sherando Lake
