Kings Dominion to Hire Hundreds for Halloween Haunt

DOSWELL, VA. Do you have what it takes to survive the atmos-FEAR of Halloween Haunt? Are you energetic, fun and looking for a terror-ific fall job? Kings Dominion is in the process of hiring hundreds of people to fill a variety of positions for Halloween Haunt 2012, including monsters, performers, supervisors, technicians and ushers. In all, 607 positions are available, which is a six-percent increase from 2011.

Kings Dominion will host three upcoming Scream Tests & Creature casting dates for job seekers interested in being Haunt monsters and performers:

  • Saturday, August 18th from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 25th from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 1st from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

During the audition process, attendees will be given a picture of a creature and asked to act out exactly how the creature in the picture would act. Then, those at the audition will be asked to create a scary noise of choice.

Individuals looking to attend one of the Scream Tests & Creature casting dates are asked to first apply online before attending a casting call. On the day of the casting call, potential employees should go to Kings Dominion’s Human Resource Office, which is located at 16000 Theme Park Way in Doswell, VA.

Halloween Haunt 2012 is open on select nights from September 28th – October 28th.
