Nominate your Hometown Hero today!The Virginia personal injury law firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen is seeking nominations for the firm’s annual Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes award. The award, which was formed in 2010 to honor Allen & Allen’s centennial anniversary, is designed to celebrate local heroes who are making a lasting impact in the community.

“We look forward to our Hometown Heroes award every year as a way to thank those who make it their mission to make the community a better place,” said Trent Kerns, President of Allen & Allen. “Our firm was founded on this type of service and we gain inspiration from the impact makers around us – the real heroes who give back to Virginia on a daily basis.”

Nominations for the 2013 Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes campaign will be accepted from April 1, 2013 to May 3, 2013. The public is encouraged to visit the website, to complete a short nomination form to honor someone making a measurable and meaningful impact in his or her neighborhood, school, organization, or other initiative designed to help others.

“The annual Hometown Heroes award in Virginia was launched by Allen & Allen as a way to honor and thank the people who make the Commonwealth a happy, safe, and healthy place to live. It’s time to celebrate these impact makers by spending just a few minutes to let us know about the people around you who are making a difference in the lives of those around them,” said Courtney Allen Van Winkle, Partner.

Allen & Allen will announce the winning Hometown Heroes on June 12, 2013. Finalists will be honored at a series of award events taking place in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville throughout the summer.
