Are you or someone you know an Etsy shop owner, or a local handmade artisan or creator? Do you love making or doing things that showcase creativity, inspiration, and uniqueness?

Then you are going to be so excited to hear about the upcoming Viva-la-Local event on February 8, 2014.

Who is Behind Viva-la-Local?

Viva-la-Local founders, Laura Trevey of Bright Bold and Beautiful along with Tyler Snidow and Bill Grishaw of NIMBLstudio, are making big plans for local artisans. They’ve previously organized similar events at Pottery Barn, SMART Gallery, Anthropologie, and Jingle on the James.

Their proven success as creators, entrepreneurs, and integrated marketing specialists gives them incredible insights into the market of local crafters.

And now they’re inviting you to participate!

How to Participate

bigstock_Valentine_Day_Hearts_4082634This is a “One Day Pop-Up Celebration” that celebrates creators. It’s a special opportunity to participate in this unique type of show for artisans. The February 2014 event will be held at LaDiff in  Richmond. If you’re a local creative person, you don’t want to miss this chance to participate and/or attend.

There are 3 levels of participation:

  1. Vendor – Basic. Your BASIC vendor ticket includes your Show Space at Viva-la-Local La Diff, your Company Name in Event program, and a Tier 3 Show Space.
  2. Vendor – Silver. Your SILVER vendor ticket includes your Show Space at Viva-la-Local La Diff, your Company Name in Event program, thumbnail photo on Viva-la-Local website with link to your shop, and a Tier 2 Show Space.
  3. Vendor – Gold. Your GOLD vendor ticket includes your Show Space at Viva-la-Local La Diff, your Company Name in Event program, and thumbnail photo on Viva-la-Local website with link to your shop. The MOST EXCITING perk of the show! GOLD level artisans receive promotion in the pre-event VIDEO featuring one product photo and website address. VIDEOS have a lasting marketing tool for your business that will live on after the event. (Tier 1 LIMITED show space. First come first serve – almost full – hurry!)

So whether you want to participate, or just plan to attend the show, mark your calendars now for February 8, 2014. The vendor list is limited to a total of 20 artisans so register soon – there are only 8 total spots left as of this writing!

Keep in mind that February 8th is the perfect time to pick up that ‘something special for someone special’ for Valentine’s Day!

And the best part? Your special gift will be created by local artisans who put love into every piece of work they produce! What could be sweeter than that?
