Autism: Special Needs Camp – Weinstein JCC – Voices Together is for children with autism that offers stimulating activities while offering some socialization skills.

Camp Baker
Greater Richmond ARC’s Camp Baker is a full-service, handicap-equipped retreat located on 22 wooded acres near Pocahontas State Park in southern Chesterfield County. Camp Baker has been serving individuals with special needs since 1929 when it was a respite for undernourished children known as W.W. Baker Summer Camp. In 1957, ownership was transferred to Chesterfield County under the care of Greater Richmond ARC and renamed Camp Baker to serve children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Camp Easter Seals 
When you come to Camp Easter Seals UCP, you will make lasting friendships and have the experience of a lifetime. With options of 6 and 12 days we host the following sessions: Children & Young Adults (6-22 years old); Adult Sessions (22 and older); Family Camp (all ages- friends too); Performing Arts Camp (10 and up).

Camp Free2BMe
Serving teens and young adults with special needs ages 13-21. Monday-Friday 9-3. Attendance is limited to three weeks so we can offer the opportunity to the greatest number of tweens and teens possible! All new campers must have an in person interview with camp staff prior to entrance.

Camp Holiday Trails
Families of and children with special medical needs and chronic illnesses can enjoy 2-week residential summer camp sessions, family weekends for parents and caregivers, sibling camps including the monthly SHINE sibling support program, plus respite and networking opportunities for families and caregivers.

Camp Riverside
Camp Riverside is a unique day camp especially designed to meet the needs of students with dyslexia and other reading related language-based learning differences.

Charter House Summer Camp for Teens with Asperger’s Syndrome
Summer is a great time for teenagers to learn new skills and make new friends. For teens with Asperger’s Syndrome or high-functioning autism, it can be a challenge to find a summer camp that fits their needs. Faison School for Autism
This program usually lasts for six weeks from early July until mid-August and provides educational services in the form of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to students of all ages.

Lions Camp Merrick
At Lions Camp Merrick we believe that each child needs to feel special and not special needs. Here campers laugh, learn, and live together as they enjoy the pleasures of summertime friendship and fun. They build skills and character, and create remarkable friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Northstar Academy’s Summer Program
Our program gives students the opportunity to reinforce and retain their academic skills in our relaxed, yet structured, atmosphere. For four weeks in the summer, students can receive instruction in language arts, math, handwriting/written expression and social skills. Many students are able to participate through Extended School Year (ESY) services provided by their local school system. Northstar also provides 1:1 instruction in the Lindamood Bell Learning Process courses; Visualizing and Verbalizing, Seeing Stars and On Cloud Nine math. “Fun in the Sum-mester” offers students the opportunity for enrichment courses in basketball, fitness, woodshop, art and exploration.
