Check Out the Living Tree at the Children’s Museum of Richmond!

Through a unique partnership, Children’s Museum of Richmond and the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, VA are coming together to serve their communities – and promote their missions – in an innovative way.

Thanks to this collaboration, Children’s Museum of Richmond has refurbished its Living Tree House, now more interactive than ever and complete with live critters, provided by Virginia Living Museum, that are native to the James River region. Young visitors can now see and learn about tree frogs, mice, turtles and other Virginia wildlife while exploring the newly renovated tree house. Additionally, every three months on “Critter Day,” Children’s Museum of Richmond will host larger animals from the Virginia Living Museum, including foxes, otters and others.
