Focus group participants needed for Children’s Hospital

Here’s a chance for parents to influence the new Children’s Hospital.

Children’s Hospital of Richmond is evaluating their operating and communications structure in order to improve the experience of patients and their families. We’re holding some small group interviews with 2 to 3 parents in which they review their experiences with their children’s hospitalization and share thoughts on ways to improve those experiences.

The groups will last about 90 minutes and parents are being offered $75 as compensation for their time.

If you either have a child that is currently ill with a condition that requires regular or extended hospital stays, or have a child that has recovered from such a condition, we need your feedback to better serve you and others like you. If you know someone that meets these qualifications, please forward the message to them.

Hospitalization can have taken place in any Richmond area hospital, including the Children’s Hospital. Groups will be taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, the 16th/17th of February at multiple available times in a facility in the west end of Richmond. We understand the sensitive nature of the discussions for some parents, and are extremely appreciative of your willingness to contribute to your community.

Please respond to [email protected] if you or someone you know are interested in participating and more information will be provided.
