Richmond moms and grandmoms will love this unique and nostalgic look at incredible, lush landscapes — all in tiny containers.
Landscapes in Miniature
Pam Shank of Harrisonburg, Virginia has established her new business, Landscapes in Miniature, and it’s all about storytelling through tiny landscapes. It’s an unusual look at gardening through miniature scenes in containers and in-ground — for both indoors and outdoors. They’re also the perfect addition for condos or apartments where space is limited but dwellers enjoy gardening.
Pam creates custom gardens and works with her clients to create one-of-a-kind creations that tell a story about life. They make perfect gifts for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or simply to mark a special memory or time in life. And they’re the perfect complement to any yard or home. Children love to see them too.
Teeny, tiny
Tiny nostalgic bistro tables and chairs, miniature park benches amidst tiny lush greenery, the tiniest of wine glasses and wine bottles atop salt-shaker sized tables, miniature snow scenes with perky bird houses, teeny beach chairs nestled in glistening sand, splinters of white picket fences beckoning with welcoming garden gates, and more, are all available in these unusual miniature landscapes. She’s even creating dry creek beds and running streams in miniature!
Pam has created dozens of miniature gardens, or she will work with her clients to create custom miniature landscapes for special memories or gifts.
