Director of Creative Strategy position now open at Richmond’s Medical Fitness Association
Responsibilities:
MARKETING:
a. Participates in the development and execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of Association services.
b. Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological and strategic/ demographic facts/issues to capitalize on market opportunities and to minimize the effects of competitive activities. Maintains library of resources.
c. Plans and oversees the organization’s advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic and direct mail outlets.
d. Works with outside resources and oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
e. Conducts formal and informal evaluations of customer responses to advertising/marketing strategy and plans.
f. Prepares all marketing and sales activity reports.
g. Assists and/or coordinates activities involved in the planning and implementation of all trade shows.
h. Develop and implement social media strategy for the Association
i. Develop and implement editorial calendar for Association
j. Develop and implement new website to increase monetization and member interaction and connectivity
Assists the Executive Director in all aspects of organizational growth. Works closely with the Director of Business Development
Assists and oversees increase in market penetration of known facilities; increases number of individual members; oversees member renewals; maintains attrition rate below industry standards.
Assists in all marketing and membership initiatives of the Association; participates in various offsite trade shows and conferences to promote MFA; coordinates and updates print materials as needed; develops press releases and maintain media contact list as needed.
Assists or manages member communications such as the eNewsletter, Fast Read, blast emails and other online material; resolve member complaints.
Plan and/or assist with implementation of all events for members such as the annual conference and the Medical Fitness Institute; Work with Committees to organize programs and events ; Develop yearly To Do Calendar and Action Plan; Oversee all aspects of event schedules and process; provide support to Medical Fitness Week as needed; other duties as needed.
