Children’s Hospital of Richmond recognized as one of the nation’s best

Congratulations to The Children's Hospital of Richmond!

Congratulations to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) which has been awarded the ADA Recognition Certificate for offering top quality educational programs and services to patients and their families. The CHoR Center for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is the only pediatric ADA-recognized program located in Central Virginia.

Their programs offer an incredible array of resources including a staff of knowledgeable health professionals with expertise in diabetes management and more. Their educational resources are highly credible and the educational recognition status is verified by an official certificate from the ADA which is good for four years.

This means that CHoR offers high-quality education and self-care programs for patients in our area and beyond. Their ability to teach children and families about self-care and awareness of diabetes makes them a valuable resource.

Not only do they support teaching for diabetes and related disorders, they also focus on children who struggle with obesity and other endocrine disorders. They offer some of the most comprehensive services for children in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Congratulations to CHoR, a part of the VCU Health System.
