28th Annual Watermelon Festival – Carytown – Over the last twenty five years, it has become a Richmond tradition where families converge to stroll the eight blocks that are closed to traffic. The festival includes over 60 musicians performing throughout the day, 150 vendors and exhibitors, a huge kids’ area and activities, lots of great food and of course, truckloads of watermelon.  100,000 attendees expected.  ** Estimated start time — Please confirm **.
