Enter your Richmond kid’s artwork to win big at CJStuf.org

We at Richmondmom.com are big fans of The CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation, where families enduring an illness are granted funds to help them in their time of need. A great way to get your Richmond kid involved in fundraising is to enter their artwork for their 2011 Art Auction to help build up these funds for needy families.

Every penny truly counts, and helps families like the Reynolds’ who created this foundation, who lost their daughter Charlotte to cancer last year. Read more about Charlotte in her mom Rachel’s article, The Things I Keep.

Here’s how to enter:

1) Have your child create an original piece of artwork and email a photo of it to Roger Reynolds at [email protected]. When you submit artwork to Roger, be sure to send your name, your child’s name and age, and your full mailing address.

2) One winner will be selected (at random), and the family will receive tickets (up to four) to attend the art auction on 9/30/11 to see their artwork auctioned off for charity (and even buy it back, wink wink for a good cause).*

3) We’ll send the first five kids who enter a Richmond Rocks book FREE. Deadline to enter: 9/18/11.

Let’s help out a great cause and have fun doing it!

We’d love to see lots of folks attend this auction, too, so here are the details:
