Kira Siddall of Siddall, Inc. Named Semi-Finalist in Glamour Magazine
and Sally Hansen 2012 “Best of You” Contest
Richmond, Va., Jan. 18, 2012 – Advertising and new media agency, Siddall, Inc., is pleased to announce that social media strategist, Kira Siddall, has been named semi-finalist in the twelfth annual Glamour Magazine and Sally Hansen “Best of You” contest, which honors women for using their best qualities to make a difference in their communities and around the world. Winners are recognized for their charitable actions and extraordinary kindness, and are chosen based on nominations from Glamour Magazine readers.
Siddall was selected as a semi-finalist for her highly-effective pro bono social media campaigns conducted on behalf of non-profit organizations. Several of her projects received widespread attention including her social media work for the Special Olympics “Over the Edge” and Virginia Coalition to End Homelessness “1,000 Homes for 1,000 Virginians” fundraisers including “TweetsGiving” on behalf of Epic Change which raised money for schools in Tanzania.
Voting is live online through Feb. 13 , 2012 at www.glamalert.com/sally2012. The top four finalists will receive a donation to the charity of her choice. In addition, each finalist will receive a trip for two to New York City and a makeover. For each vote, Glamour will donate $1 to Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei (DKMS), the world’s largest bone marrow donor center committed to the fight against leukemia. All voters will be entered to win a basket of beauty products from Sally Hansen and Glamour. One vote is permitted per email address.
