Learn About the Chesterfield CMoR Location on March 19

If you want to know more about The Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Newest Location for Chesterfield Satellite, then you don’t have to wait much longer. Information about the newest location in Chesterfield County will be discussed at a meeting for media and others on Monday, March 19.

A Chesterfield location is a long awaited dream for many residents who find driving to Short Pump and the Downtown CMoR locations too much of a hassle. This newest location is sure to offer tons of fun for our southside families.

Details about Monday’s announcements are included below.

 WHAT: Karen Coltrane, President & CEO of the Children’s Museum of Richmond, announces the location of the museum’s Chesterfield satellite slated to open later this year. Announcement will take place in the new space and will feature the sneak preview of a favorite exhibit.

WHERE: Winterpock Crossing Shopping Center

               6629 Lake Harbor Drive

               Midlothian, VA 23112

               Corner of Hull Street and Winterpock Road

               (Winterpock Road becomes  Lake Harbor Drive where it intersects Hull Street)

WHY:  The Children’s Museum of Richmond is pleased to bring a satellite location to the Chesterfield community, making it easy for them to enjoy the benefits of frequent visits. Young children learn through play and hands-on experiences, and having a children’s museum within close proximity to their homes will allow families to visit much more often. Find out where this new, rich addition to the community will be located along with some of the exhibit offerings.
