April is Autism Awareness Month: Kick it Off with TACA Support Group

Lisa Ann Setchel has recently joined the Richmondmom.com team. She is the joyous mother of two, owner of FreezeFrame Photo booth, and powerful autism advocate.

“Some of our families have been told to put their child in an institution. We’re hoping for Harvard.”

Many of our readers have children with autism and in addition to the already-challenging duties that parenting brings, including one of our writers, Lisa Ann Setchel who has a son with autism, and she writes about her experiences candidly.

Lisa is launching Richmond TACA to as a support group for Richmond parents and support systems working through a better day for children with autism.

TACA meets the first Friday of each month.

Richmond TACA is a new chapter and all are welcome. Watch this TACA meeting video to see what  goes on!
