Do you remember where you were on July 20, 1969? Or maybe you weren’t born yet.
But it is a big anniversary in space history – it marks the 43rd anniversary of humans landing on the moon.
July 20, 1969 was a big day for astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin when they became the first humans to land on the moon. Six hours later, on July 21, Armstrong became the first person to set foot on the boom, which he described to a world-wide audience on live television as “one small step for man…”.
