Virginia 529 Kids Zone Powered by the Science Museum of Virginia: September 7-8

Get ready for some great fun at the Virginia 529 Kids Zone.

One of the best values in NASCAR is short track racing “under the lights” on a Friday night at Richmond. The Virginia 529 College Savings 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race pits young up-and-comers. And it’s also wily veterans and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars, all battling around the ¾-mile D-shaped oval.

With children 12 and under admitted free with a ticketed adult in general admission sections, Friday is a great night to bring out the whole family. Friday’s ticket includes practice and pole qualifying for both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series.

Look for Mentos® Geyser Eruptions and live Radical Reactions every hour! Kids Zone activities are included with RIR admission. Be sure to enjoy and explore hands-on exhibits from the Science Museum of Virginia.
