Prismacolor Pencil Techniques presented by The Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen
During this workshop, students will learn how to transfer an image onto illustration board using graphite pencils and a grid. Students will then learn Prismacolor pencil techniques to bring their drawings to life.
They will discuss proportion, light and shadow, and color theory to create successful compositions. Instructor will provide the reference image for the class and the illustration board. Subject matter will be bright, vivid, and realistic for this course (i.e. a butterfly, bird, flower, fish, seashell, a still life full of color, etc.).
Beginners welcome!
