Tuckaway Child Development Centers has an incredible summer of fun planned for kids. They’re taking the kids to Hollywood!
It’s a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience that engages kids in script writing, casting, costume design, special effects, filming, and much more. Kids will be totally excited as they learn all about the activities that go into making some of their favorite movies. But that’s not all – they’ll enjoy outside fun including some wet fun in the pool.
This is one summer camp your kids do not want to miss!
Lights, Camera, Action!
Walk down the ‘Red Carpet’ where your child will spend the summer with weekly activities, fun field trips, outside games and sports and swimming – swimming lessons included.
Each week has activities that are structured around that weeks specific theme:
- Week 1: Script Writing (June 17-21)
- Week 2: Storyboarding (June 24-28)
- Week 3: Casting (July 1-5)
- Week 4: Set & Costume Design (July 8-12)
- Week 5: Soundtrack (July 15-19)
- Week 6: Special EFX / Stunts (July 22-26)
- Week 7: Rehearsal & Filming (July 29-Aug 2)
- Week 8: Publicity (Aug 5-9)
- Week 9: Premiere Week (Aug 12-16)
- Week 10: Press & Journalism (Aug 19-23)
- Week 11: Awards (Aug 26-29)
In addition to the weekly theme activities, your child will participate in:
- Swimming / Swimming Lessons
- Clubs
- Photography
- Biking
- Astronomy
- Hiking
- Intramural Sports
- Art Projects
- Cooking
Weekly Camps are available for all age groups. If your child needs something more than the usual day to day routine, sign up for a one week session!
