Share your love this Valentine’s Day with a new four‐legged friend from Richmond Animal Care & Control (RACC)! RACC will hold half‐price ($50.00) pet adoptions Thursday, Feb. 14 through Saturday, Feb. 16. Pets ages six years and older are available at no charge with an approved application. All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro‐chipped. Dogs are heart worm tested and cats are tested for FiV/FELV. Not quite ready to adopt? Stop by to visit and post your valentine in honor of a special pet here waiting for a home!
Adoption Hours
Pet adoption hours are:
- Tuesday – Friday, 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and
- Saturday, noon until 4 p.m.

Donations are needed including:
- blankets
- towels
- pet beds
- kitten food
- baby food
- chicken broth
- newspapers
- toys for cats and dogs
Richmond Animal Care and Control (RAC&C) provides humane care for stray, injured abused and lost animals. Our staff of professional animal control officers investigates animal cruelty, issues pet licenses and enforces rabies laws.
