Chesterfield Nights at the Children’s Museum of Richmond. Children enrolled in Chesterfield County Elementary Schools receive free admission beginning at 5:00pm with voucher, good for any weeknight during the month of March. All others are only $4 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. RevQuest: The Lion and The Unicorn game returns to Colonial Williamsburg’s Revolutionary City for the spring break season March 25 through April 21. Participants in the alternate reality game join the Friends of Liberty while they save the American Revolution by protecting the identity of an important patriot spy. During summer 2012, more than 19,000 gamers participated in the game’s first full season.

Tuesday, March 26

Community Creative Writing Class – Writer’s Cove Preview. 5:00-6:00pm. Melody Magic Music Studio. 3041 Lauderdale Drive Richmond, VA 23233. Much like pirates had secret hideouts, writing is an escape for pre-teens and teens. In this hour long workshop for students in grades 7-9, students will explore word play.  Your student will leave reluctance at the door and find creativity on the shores of Writer’s Cove. *Class is limited to five. Please email to reserve your seat.

Chesterfield Town Center Club Mom. 8am-11am. Free Club Mom occurs the first Tuesday of every month in our Food Court from 9-11 a.m.and features great entertainment, fun giveaways for the adults, and free breakfast for children 12 years or younger. (Breakfast tickets are given out until 10:30 a.m. and are valid until 10:45 a.m. on Club Mom event days.).

Second Annual Executive Mansion Easter Egg Hunt on Capitol Square. Family friendly and free to the public, this celebration will include live music, an egg hunt, prizes, games, appearances by mascots and historic figures, and much more. Mascots in attendance will include Nusty from the Flying Squirrels; Smokey the Bear from the Department of Forestry; Snapdragon from the Department of Motor Vehicles; and Risky from the Richmond Raiders as well as the Lady Raiders and Raider Players.

24th Annual Henrico 5k Run/Walk. This event is sponsored by Henrico County Recreation and Parks in cooperation with Innsbrook Owners Association and Richmond Road Runners. The first 200 participants registered will receive a t-shirt! Awards will also be given in the following categories: top three overall males, top three overall females, and the top three finishers in each of the 13 age divisions. Information: Rachel Lindsey, 501-5134.

Easter on Parade at Monument Avenue. On Monument Avenue between Allen and Davis Avenues, enjoy this wonderful, annaul RVA tradition!  Join over 25,000 people celebrating Spring, strolling the streets, and watching paraders up and down Monument Ave. Music, arts, crafts, children’s activities, food, balloon artistry, a petting zoo and, of course, people and pet watching are all part of the celebration!
